Had some nice moves and displays a soft touch around the basket. He has a nice little fade away jumper that he used a couple times from inside the key. He rebounds and can knock down shots from three. He is versatile and can be effective playing on the wing as well as doing work in the paint. The thing that stood out the most is the touch around the basket, along with some shake and bake from fifteen and in. He is more than capable of doing work in the scoring column. A bigger role ahead of him as well over in Tumwater with the loss of their big scorers.

Clay has gotten stronger and better since I saw him last summer. He was a big factor for his team, with the ability to work in the paint and shooting the ball. He has great range on his jumper and isn’t shy about playing physical inside. His game is well rounded and that should show up big next season on a Tumwater team who lost a lot to graduation.

He should step up and take over a big role for this team and brings some size and good athleticism. He’s also had a good off-season and can definitely fill a big role. As I said, this team is deep, so it’s hard to say what type of role each player will have. He is capable of having a big one.
