Culuko did everything he could against Vernon as I watched him put up a stellar 31 points in a hard-fought loss. Culuko was everywhere on offense and hitting many difficult shots in the process. Just by watching him for the first couple of drives, you knew he was going to have a big night. He was particularly effective in the fastbreak flying up and down the court and hitting tough layups over multiple defenders. Culuko raked in 3 threes as well having just an all-around game from an offensive standpoint.

Culuko has been on a mission this season scoring the basketball. Averaging close to 28 ppg Culuko can get his offense from anywhere on the court. His all-around skillset allows him to dominate in any area of the game. His ability to put the ball on the floor and take defenders off the dribble is what makes it tough to stay in front of him. His strong upper body gives him the strength advantage to absorb contact from multiple defenders when going to the rim for tough finishes. He can hit any shot you set in front of him and is just an overall elite player in every fashion of the game. Look for Culuko to continue to keep torching defenses this season.

Culuko is a player that can control the game in almost every area of a game with playmaking being his most underrated skill. With how much attention he draws from defenses it’s no surprising he gets double-teamed a lot. That allows Culuko to kick it out to open teammates in those situations. He can run the fastbreak as well as anyone making some impressive full-court passes or hitting teammates in stride while on the run to the basket.

You could say that Culuko had a breakout season last year averaging 23.3 points per game. However, I feel Culuko will have an even better season this year. He can takeover games because of his all-around skillset. He can put the ball on the floor and attack the rim aggressively using a very effective spin move. He can stop on a dime in the midrange and hit tough shots from that area. His three-point shooting is excellent as you cannot give him any space to get his shot off. Also on defense he will pick-up his assignment full-court and will constantly apply pressure to opposing players.

Culuko is an all-around player that knows exactly how to pick and choose his spots on the court. He plays under control and does not try to force anything he can’t make. He’s got a nice shot from deep and looks to come off of screens for catch-and-shoot shots. Culuko is crafty at drawing fouls throughout a game constantly wearing down defenses. He can rebound as well as anyone and will play in-your-face defense throughout a whole game.

Culuko has a fast release point allowing him to shoot over anyone no matter how good the closeout can be. He will look to come off of off-ball screens for catch-and-shoot opportunities from behind the arc. Culuko doesn’t force anything on offense and takes smart selective shots. He can wrap around a ball handler and strip the ball free from behind. Culuko is great at closing out and helping with traps and double teams.

Culuko has a beautiful high-arcing shot once he releases it from his fingertips. The second Culuko steps past the half-court line he is in range. Catch-and-shoot and pull-up jumpers are his bread and butter as he has a quick burst of speed to allow him to get those shots off with zero hesitation. He also needs just a hair of space to get his shot off forcing the defense to constantly focus on him from the start because once he gets hot from deep Culuko won’t miss and will make the defense pay.
