<p>Class 7A will have its on showcase of games on Friday. The first semifinal game will be Dr. Phillips vs. Seminole. The South Florida matchup will be Miami Columbus vs. Lake Worth.</p>
<p>Miami Columbus (27-2) has been one of the best teams in Florida with a 27-2 overall record. The Explorers have won ten straight games and three state tournament matchups by a combined score of 207-119.</p>
<p>Miami Columbus starts with star 2025’s [player_tooltip player_id="1301714" first="Cameron" last="Boozer"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1301715" first="Cayden" last="Boozer"]. The twins have averaged a combined 36 points, 16.8 rebounds, 9.7 assists, 3.6 steals and 2.7 blocks per game. Their scoring output is more than half of Columbus’ total margin (71 ppg). [player_tooltip player_id="1301714" first="Cameron" last="Boozer"] had eight points, seven assists and six rebounds in the 7A-4 regional final against Cypress Bay. [player_tooltip player_id="1301715" first="Cayden" last="Boozer"] had 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field. Any sort of containment by Lake Worth on the Boozer twins will be a key to their victory.</p>
<p>2025 [player_tooltip player_id="1301708" first="Benny" last="Fragela"] is an excellent shooting guard. The 6-foot-2 Fragela has knocked down a team-best 73 3-pointers. He recentlly picked up an offer from South Carolina. 2023’s Kevin Noriega and Garyn Bess are additional shooters with a combined 68 3-pointers. The 5-foot-9 Noriega knocked down three 3-pointers against Cypress Bay. All three players shoot at least 34 percent from deep. 2024 [player_tooltip player_id="1163358" first="Malik" last="Abdullahi"] is a tough defender with long arms. The 6-foot-7 forward has averaged 6.7 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game. Abdullahi grabbed a team-best seven boards against Cypress Bay.</p>
<p>Lake Worth (21-3) comes into this game after defeating Osceola 75-57. The Trojans are led by 2023’s Calvin Sirmans and Marvin Golf. Sirmans is a 5-foot-8 point guard that has averaged 17 points, 5.6 assists, three rebounds and 2.7 steals per game. Sirmans is shifty and smooth driving to the basket. In addition, he has good vision while attacking the rim. From deep, Sirmans is shooting 40 percent (31-of-78). He had 20 points, eight assists and eight rebounds against Osceola. 2023 Marvin Golf is a 6-foot-4 forward that is averaging 14.7 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. Golf had 26 points and 15 rebounds against Osceola. He is very efficient around the rim and plays with a good base while grabbing rebounds. Golf also has excellent hands on defense (2.7 spg).</p>
<p>2023 [player_tooltip player_id="962913" first="Anthony" last="Coby"] has made a team-best 36 3-pointers while averaging 9.9 points per game. 2022 [player_tooltip player_id="1316843" first="Chancellor" last="Wilson"] is a versatile forward that has averaged 10.4 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. The 6-foot-6 Wilson had eight points and seven rebounds against Osceola.</p>
