has put together an excellent season averaging 22.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game for the Lancers. Trinity Lutheran played Edinburgh to 10 points on February 15th and that will be a Tuesday matchup between the likely two best teams in the field.

(2023) – North Daviess
Sectional 8 and Sectional 10 at the Class 4A level in the Indianapolis area get a lot of the attention around the state as being the two toughest sectionals. They have certainly earned that reputation. However, Sectional 63 deserves to be in the same conversation as three legitimate Class 1A state title contenders all face-off in the same field. Orleans is no slouch either, but with the strength of arguably three of the top five teams in the state it is hard to see them surviving the gauntlet. Barr-Reeve put up a 5-1 record versus sectional opponents including a win over North Daviess and a split with Loogotee. The Lions lost to North Daviess as well during the regular season. It will be extremely interesting to see who can make it through the toughest small school sectional in Indiana.
Sectional 64: Springs Valley
The Teams: Vincennes Rivet, Cannelton, Springs Valley, Wood Memorial, Northeast Dubios, Evansville Day
Our Contenders: Springs Valley
Player to Watch: Tyler Myers Tyler Myers 5'11" | PG Evansville Day | 2023 State IN (2023) – Evansville Day
Springs Valley has a pair of seniors averaging 16.8 and 16.3 points per game respectively in Kannon Chase and Carter Crews. However, that is less than half as many points as junior guard Tyler Myers Tyler Myers 5'11" | PG Evansville Day | 2023 State IN puts up per contest. Evansville Day drew the bye and will await the winner of Springs Valley and Wood Memorial on Friday night. His ability to light it up will give them a chance to compete, but it is clear that the Blackhawks remain the heavy favorite to cut down the nets.
