Latavious Morris Latavious Morris 5'8" | PG Atrisco Heritage | 2025 State NM – 5’6 Point Guard “Atrisco Heritage” Class of 2025
Latavious is having a great start to his freshman year. His play this season has helped Atrisco Heritage start off at 14-2 this season. He is a solid Point Guard who sets up his teammates at a high level and can score the ball at all areas of the floor. He is dangerous in transition and is an elite pull up shooter from mid-range and three. He thrives at making his teammates better and has received significant playing time this season entering the starting lineup and finishing games. His best games this season have come against very good teams in the 5A Class. He scored 14 points vs La Cueva in the Metro Semifinals, 17 vs Volcano Vista in the Metro Championship and 15 vs Rio Rancho this past Thursday January 20th.
Jalin Holland Jalin Holland 6'5" | SG Los Lunas | 2025 State #85 Nation NM – 6’1 Guard “Los Lunas” Class of 2025
Jalin Holland Jalin Holland 6'5" | SG Los Lunas | 2025 State #85 Nation NM has been one of the most exciting freshmen to watch so far this season. He is a smooth dual-threat guard that is super athletic with his size. His play has helped Los Lunas win seven of their last ten games. He leads the Class of 2025 in scoring this season and has been one of the most consistent players as well. His best games this season have been against Carlsbad where he scored 22 points, against Santa Fe and Manzano where he scored 23 points each. His season high this year came against Hobbs where he scored 26 points.
Kenyon Aguino Kenyon Aguino 6'7" | PF Volcano Vista | 2025 State #257 Nation NM – 6’5 Power Foward “Volcano Vista” Class of 2025
Big man Kenyon Aguino Kenyon Aguino 6'7" | PF Volcano Vista | 2025 State #257 Nation NM has had as big of an impact as anyone in the Class of 2025. Kenyon continues to get better and do more every game he plays. He is a great low post player and has a nice touch around the basket. He is a solid offensive rebounder and is a tough matchup for any big man in New Mexico. He is very physical and doesn’t back down from any contact. His play helped Volcano Vista defeat Atrisco Heritage in the Metro Championship where he scored 15 points. Some other good performances he’s had this season were vs Cleveland where he scored 15 points and vs Eldorado where he scored a season high 19 points. His impact has helped Volcano Vista stay undefeated at 18-0 this season.
Hudson Brown Hudson Brown 5'9" | PG Volcano Vista | 2025 State NM – 5’8 Point Guard “Volcano Vista” Class of 2025
Hudson Brown Hudson Brown 5'9" | PG Volcano Vista | 2025 State NM has described this season as “being great” so far and I agree with him. He has taken the role as being an energy guy for an undefeated Volcano Vista team. He comes off the bench and makes positive plays that helps them win games. He adds shooting and toughness to one of the best basketball programs in the state. He is a solid ball handler and playmaker for his teammates. His play helped Volcano Vista defeat Cleveland in the Phil Griego Championship where he had 7 points, 5 assists and drew two charges defensively. He has continued to get better as the season has gone on.
Joshua Foster– 6’1 Guard “Cibola” Class of 2025
Cibola’s Joshua Foster is one of the best shooters of the 2025 class. He has solid long range from beyond the three-point line and when he gets in the zone, he is hard to guard. He is a fast-paced player who has gotten better as the season has gone on. He has received significant playing time this season being in the starting lineup. His best games this season have been against Valley and Manzano where he scored the ball at a high level.
Cameron Dyer Cameron Dyer 6'3" | SG La Cueva | 2025 State NM – 6’2 Guard “La Cueva” Class of 2025
Cameron Dyer Cameron Dyer 6'3" | SG La Cueva | 2025 State NM is a two-way player who has had a solid freshman season so far. He is a starter on JV and the captain of the team but has received good playing time as the backup combo guard on varsity. He takes pride on shutting down the opposing teams best offensive players and is really scrapy doing the dirty work on the defensive end of the floor. He also controls the ball offensively at a high level and knows how to get his teammates involved while staying aggressive for himself as well.
Mason Howell Mason Howell 6'8" | C Sandia | 2025 State NM – 6’5 Center “Sandia” Class of 2025
Big man Mason Howell Mason Howell 6'8" | C Sandia | 2025 State NM has made a nice impact for the Sandia Matadors this season. He is a patient big man that is good on the defensive end of the floor blocking shots and a solid rebounder for his size. He is dominating on the JV level where he scored 22 points and had 16 rebounds and is getting significant playing time on the varsity level. His play has helped Sandia stand at 10-6 this season.
