Senior [player_tooltip player_id="787643" first="Joshua" last="Jefferson"] has put up player of the year numbers, but he has had help from sophomore PG [player_tooltip player_id="986955" first="DJ" last="Thomas"] who is averaging nearly 6 assists per game. </li> <li><strong>Durango</strong> (LW) #3 Week 2-0 Season 11-4 Next Centennial – The Trailblazers head into their matchup with Centennial riding a 3 game win streak. Junior [player_tooltip player_id="985637" first="Tylen" last="Riley"] has put together a breakthrough season, while freshmen guards [player_tooltip player_id="986962" first="Mason" last="Brown"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1266705" first="Jevon" last="Yapi"] have had stellar first-year campaigns. </li> <li><strong>Coronado</strong> (LW) #4 Week 1-0 Season 9-6 Next Faith Lutheran – The Cougars picked up a win over Canyon Springs last week. </li> <li><strong>Desert Pines</strong> (LW) #6 Week 2-0 Season 11-4 Canyon Springs – DP won both of their contests last week, bringing their win streak to 5.</li> <li><strong>Canyon Springs</strong> (LW) #5 Week 1-2 Season 12-4 Next Desert Pines - Tough schedule last week as CS suffered defeats at the hands of Durango and Coronado. They rebounded with a win over Arbor View, Senior [player_tooltip player_id="928906" first="Jalen" last="Foy"] is putting together a marvelous season averaging over 16ppg. </li> <li><b>Spanish Springs (</b>LW) #9 Week 2-0 Season 12-5 Next Galena – Coach Penny has put together one of the most remarkable coaching jobs in the state. The Cougars remain undefeated in league with two wins last week. They are getting production from everyone, including [player_tooltip player_id="1340234" first="Nate" last="Penny"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1326865" first="Jake" last="Penny"] who are leading the team in rebounds, with both averaging 5 per game. </li> <li><strong>Bishop Manogue</strong> LW (UR) Week 1-0 Season 10-8 – The Miners picked up another league victory last weekend. Juniors [player_tooltip player_id="1340636" first="Isaiah" last="Garcia"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1340603" first="Carson" last="Jensen"] have had a huge impact both averaging in double figures with 12 and 11 points per game respectively. </li> <li><strong>Arbor View</strong> LW (#7) Week 1-1 Season 8-5 Next Liberty – The Aggies split last week, getting a victory over Foothills before falling to Canyon Springs.
