Adam Jenkins Adam Jenkins 6'9" | C Moorhead | 2023 State MN (2023) |6-8 PF| Moorhead/ECI
He is big, strong, athletic, and explosive. Jenkins is bouncy and he can finish above the rim. His two-handed dunks are thunderous. Adam can slash from the wing and he can hit the 3-ball. Jenkins will be a tough matchup for every team in the coming season.
Alex Dvorak Alex Dvorak 6'1" | PG Dickinson | 2023 State ND (2023) |6-0 G| Dickinson
He is super quick, fast, and bouncy. Dvorak can create his own shot and he can put up points in a hurry. Alex is very creative and skilled. Expect Dvorak to be one of the biggest scorers in North Dakota this season.
Angok Akot Angok Akot 6'7" | SF Sioux Falls Washington | 2022 State SD (2022) |6-7 F| Sioux Falls Washington/Sacred Hoops
This kid has it all! Akot can jump with anyone, board up, hit jumpers, and finish in a variety of ways. Angok showed that he can perform against top competition this summer. I am excited to see him play this season. Akot is a star that more college coaches need to see play.
Anthony Doppler Anthony Doppler 6'4" | SG Bismarck Century | 2023 State ND (6-4 SG| Bismarck Century/ND Phenom
He is a big, strong, long, and an athletic wing player. Doppler is a consistent 3-point shooter with extended range. He can finish in the paint in a variety of ways. Doppler has all the tools and skills that you could ask for. His size makes him a tough matchup for most teams. Expect Anthony and the Patriots to pick up many wins this season.
Caden Hinker Caden Hinker 6'6" | PF Mitchell | 2022 State SD (2022) |6-7 F| Mitchell/SD Attack
He has committed to Augustana for basketball. Hinker can score from all over the court and he is a big mismatch problem for virtually everyone. Caden is crafty, smart, and skilled. Hinker and the Kernels are going to be a fun team to watch.
Conner Kraft Conner Kraft 6'5" | PF Shanley | 2023 State ND (2023) |6-7 PF| Fargo Shanley/Howard Pulley
His stock has blown up in the past year. There are many Division 1 colleges that have shown interest in Kraft. He is an athletic and powerful player that is not afraid to dunk on people. Conner is a great rebounder and a shot blocker. His jump shot is always getting better and he is a legit threat from beyond the arc. Do not miss a chance to watch the all-star Kraft play this season.
Isaac Bruns Isaac Bruns 6'4" | SG Dakota Valley | 2023 State SD (2023) |6-3 SG| Dakota Valley/SD Attack
He is a pure shooter and an outstanding scorer. Bruns is a gym rat that is always working on his game. Isaac is a sniper that can spot up for catch-and-shoot situations or hurt you with his pull-up game. He does not just shoot, Bruns can set up his teammates for good looks as well. I am looking forward to watching this baller play.
Jeremiah Sem Jeremiah Sem 6'3" | SG Fargo North | 2024 State #303 Nation ND (2024) |6-3 G| Fargo North/ECI
He is an outstanding athlete that showed he can ball with the best in the country this summer. Sem can take over a game in the blink of an eye. Jeremiah is a high-level D1 athlete. Every time Sem plays he puts on a highlight clinic.
Joe Hurlburt Joe Hurlburt 6'10" | PF Enderlin | 2022 State #147 Nation MN (2022) |6-10 PF| Enderlin/D1 MN
He will be hooping in the Pac-12 next year with Colorado. Hurlburt is big, long, and very talented. He will go down as one of the best in ND history. It is likely that Joe breaks the State Record for career rebounds this year. He will likely be a Mr. Basketball candidate in March. Hurlburt was the ND Gatorade Player of The Year last season. Joe and the Eagles will be looking for a State Tournament birth this season.
Joe Sayler Joe Sayler 6'4" | SG White River | 2023 State #295 Nation SD (2023) |6-3 SG| White River/Pentagon Schoolers
He has committed to SDSU for hoops. Sayler is a phenomenal basketball player and a great athlete. Joe is one of the best shooters in the Dakotas and he can score from all over the court. He is a gamer and a star playmaker.
JT Rock JT Rock 7'1" | C Sioux Falls Lincoln | 2024 #37 Nation SD (2024) |7-0 C| Sioux Falls Lincoln/SD Attack
The Division 1 offers are starting to pile up for JT! Rock has had his stock skyrocket in the past 6 months. JT moves very well for his 7-foot height. His post moves and footwork are constantly improving. He can also shoot it from 15-feet and beyond the arc. JT can do it all. Rock is the next big recruit from SD!
Kalen Garry Kalen Garry 6'3" | SG De Smet | 2022 State SD (2022) |6-3 SG| De Smet/Pentagon Schoolers
He is tearing it up in football and the Bulldogs are perfect so far on the season with a 10-0 record. He has been the Class B MVP player the past two seasons. Garry and the Bulldogs won the State Championship last year and they are the favorites this season as well. Expect great things from Garry once again this hoops season.
Kristin Hoskins (2022) |5-11 G| Alexandria/Minnesota Comets
A University of Minnesota football commit. Hoskins is ridiculously quick and explosive. He can take over a game and score at will. On defense, he can be a lockdown defender. Kristin can throw down impressive dunks with his elite athleticism.
Lincoln Kienholz Lincoln Kienholz 6'3" | PG Pierre | 2023 State SD (6-3 G| Pierre/SD Attack
He is a stud in every sport that he plays. Lincoln is a fierce athlete that can finish above the rim and he is no stranger to dunking on people. He is a Divison 1 type athlete. Kienholz is deadly off the bounce and electric in transition. If you like watching athletic players that play above the rim than you will want to watch Pierre this season.
Mason Klabo Mason Klabo 6'2" | PG Fargo Davies | 2025 State #240 Nation ND (2025) |6-0 G| Fargo Davies/Team Tyus
He was an impact player as an 8th grader for the Eagles. Klabo has a mature game and he is a huge 3-point threat. Mason can rise to the occasion and he is a tough kid. He is skilled like a senior. Mason is smart and he knows what to do on the court. The sky is the limit for young Klabo.
Micah Thompson Micah Thompson 6'6" | SF Perham | 2023 State MN (2023) |6-5 PG| Perham/West Central United
He is a big and skilled point guard for the Yellowjackets. Thompson is long and he uses his size to his advantage. Micah elevates well with his smooth jump shot. He is a precision passer and an efficient finisher. He can also post up and do work on the block. Get ready for a big year from Mr. Thompson and the Yellowjackets.
Nathan Fenske Nathan Fenske 6'2" | SG Lakeview | 2023 State MN (2023) |6-2 SG| Lakeview/SW Minnesota Stars
He had a fantastic football season and I expect that momentum to carry into the basketball season. In hoops last year Nathan averaged 19.9 ppg, 6 rpg, 2 apg, 2 spg, and 1 bpg. Fenske is wildly athletic and he is a fierce competitor. Nathan is a two-way player that never takes a possession off. Look for Fenske’s stock to keep rising and for him to have a huge junior season.
Oliver Vincent Oliver Vincent 6'1" | PG Sioux Valley | 2023 State SD (2023) |6-1 G| Sioux Valley/Pentagon Schoolers
20.5 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 4 apg, 2 spg are his impressive stats from last season. Oli has shown that he can score like a machine and he still finds a way to make his teammates better. He brings it every game no matter the event. Vincent has interest from D1 schools and he is primed for a monster season at Sioux Valley.
Owen Leach Owen Leach 6'6" | SF Dillworth Glyndon-Felton | 2023 State MN (2023) |6-6 F| Dillworth Glyndon-Felton/Sizzle
He has received a good amount of attention from college coaches. It looks like Leach will be a D1 hoops player if he so chooses. Last season Owen put up 22.7 ppg, 11.2 rpg, and he shot an impressive 42% from beyond the arc. Leach is a big shot blocker, athletic finisher, has a quick first step, and is an all-around scorer.
Ryan Erikson Ryan Erikson 6'10" | C Bismarck Century | 2023 State ND (2023) |6-9 PF| Bismarck Century/ND Phenom
He is easily one of the best BIG men in the Dakotas. Ryan has a crafty game on the block and he has some throw-back moves. Erikson is a double-double dude and his court vision is spectacular for a post. Ryan drops dimes like few forwards can. Make sure you get a chance to watch Erikson play this winter.
Taylen Ashley Taylen Ashley 5'11" | PG Sf Roosevelt | 2023 State SD (2023) |6-0 PG| Sioux Falls Jefferson/SD Attack
He will be one of the most athletic point guards in South Dakota this season. Ashley is as quick as players come. He is a leader and a student of the game. Taylen is a dynamic playmaker that can slash to the rim or pull up with his sweet mid-range jumper. Make sure you get a chance to watch this star athlete play this winter.
Trey Brandt Trey Brandt 6'1" | PG Beulah | 2022 State ND (2022) |6-1 PG| Beulah/Pentagon Schoolers
He has committed to Minot State for basketball. Trey will likely be a Mr. Basketball finalist in March. Brandt is a clutch player that shines in the big moments. He is most likely the best PG in class B. Trey is a gym rat and an all-around stud. Brandt will be hoping for another State Tournament appearance in March.
Treysen Eaglestaff Treysen Eaglestaff 6'5" | SF Bismark | 2022 State ND (2022) |6-5 SF| Bismarck/D1 MN
He has committed to UND for basketball. Treysen will likely be a Mr. Basketball finalist in March. Eaglestaff has All-State talent and he is an elite offensive player. He is super talented with great skills. Tre is uniquely talented with old-school moves, athleticism, and super good ball skills. He can also shoot the lights out!
