Hudson Blank Hudson Blank 6'2" | SF Dixie Heights | 2024 State KY , Dixie Heights – Blank picked his spots at camp but was very effective in catch and shoot situations. Hudson looked to have grown recently and could be a sleeper for top 2024 wing in Northern Kentucky.
Brady Cummins Brady Cummins 6'1" | PG DeSales | 2024 State KY , DeSales – Brady’s reputation is more of point guard than a shooter but he showcased high level shooting ability on Saturday. He was good in catch and shoot situations as well as off the bounce with step backs and other moves.
Colin Detzel Colin Detzel 6'6" | SF Covington Catholic | 2023 State KY , Covington Catholic – Detzel is in line for a bigger role for the Colonels this season and the ability to knock down shots at a high clip could keep him on the floor. At 6’5 or so, Colin is able to elevate over defenders and knockdown shots from distance.
Coby Kramer Coby Kramer 5'9" | PG Highlands | 2023 State KY , Highlands – Another 2023 from the 9th region, Kramer is going to have to have a big year to keep Highlands in the mix for the 9th region title. Coby was able to make shots all over the court but his ability to hit 3s could be a difference maker for the Bluebirds.
Teagan Moore Teagan Moore 6'4" | SF Owen County | 2023 State KY , Owen County – One of the most pure shots around, Teagan can not knock perimeter jumpers at a high level and does it consistently. Moore has good positional size and shoots the same shot every time. That sort of repetition is rare and a large reason why Teagan shoots at such a high level.
Jack Payne Jack Payne 6'2" | SG Daviess County | 2023 State KY , Daviess County – Payne has been on the short list of best shooters in camp for the last 3 years now. The 6’2 guard has fluid mechanics and a quick release. He was able to make shots all day, making the most of sometimes limited opportunities.
Brant Smithers Brant Smithers 6'1" | CG Walton-Verona | 2022 State KY , Walton-Verona – The 6’2 Smithers is on the short list of best shooters in the state, in my opinion. On Saturday, he backed that up with another good shooting display. Brant never misses to the left or right, only long or short. That’s the mark of a true shooter.
Noah Lovan, Trinity – As mentioned in our “New Names” article yesterday, Lovan was terrific Saturday with his ability to shoot from all over the court, including from deep.
