A group of size, athleticism and skill.

Here are the top-9 SF’s in the 2022 class:

1. [player_tooltip player_id="598749" first="Jalen" last="Carruth"] Hillcrest Prep

The son of Rashaad Carruth has some game. He flies on the open break and plays above the rim. He can hit the catch-3 plus pull-up from mid-range off the dribble.

2. [player_tooltip player_id="1011614" first="Garrett" last="Anderson"] Phhoenix Prep (Pictured)

A wildly athletic quickly growing player impressed in the July live periods. He is a dunk show with lobs and breakaway jaw droppers but he can also shoot it. He has deep 3pt range on his J and has speed to burn. He takes long strides getting to the rim with his new height.

3. [player_tooltip player_id="827019" first="Ringo" last="Aguek"] Ironwood

Aguek was out for the entire summer live periods with an injury and will have a lot to prove his senior season. He grew two inches and has guard skills. He can shoot it but also defends many positions. It will be interesting to see what he looks like come fall.

4. [player_tooltip player_id="827020" first="Trey" last="Phillips"] Eduprize

A long defensive wing defends the 1-5 about as well as most in state. He is a quick twitch athlete who is starting to show more signs of offense. He can hit the catch-3, plays above the rim and can rip through and score it.

5. [player_tooltip player_id="973912" first="Tanti" last="Felli"] Phoenix Country Day

The poster child of the breakout candidates grew his game and height the last two years. He has good athleticism, he can handle it, shoot it to the 3 and will defend all five positions in the AIA. He is one of the early favorites for POY in 2A.

6. [player_tooltip player_id="827008" first="Isaac" last="Garcia"] SoAZ Vols

A versatile forward who is moving his game more and more to the perimeter. He handles it, shoots 3's more consistently and has sneaky bounce. He is one of the top seniors in Tucson.

7. [player_tooltip player_id="973910" first="Luke" last="Kearney"] Bella Vista Prep

A thicker shooter with some pop on the break. He is taking his talents to the prep world and he will provide shooting for them. His 3pt stroke is just as good as anyone in the state for position.

8. [player_tooltip player_id="827016" first="Jason" last="Parent"] Prescott

A sharp shooting AIA player. He goes on his own personal runs from deep and his confidence is sky high right now. He gets high elevation and has a nice handle and plays a smart floor game.

9. [player_tooltip player_id="936761" first="Nathaniel" last="Knight"] AZ Compass Prep

A powerfully built athlete with size and skill. He is a fun watch on the break and if he regains his form from 2 years ago, he can make a jump up in production.
