Jaden Biggers Jaden Biggers 6'6" | PF Bryan Station | 2023 State KY , Bryan Station – Jaden is a big body who just turned 16 and is starting to put his entire game together and show D1 upside. Biggers reminds me so much of former NAIA Player of the Year Vic Moses and has a really high ceiling as a prospect. This Junior season will be an important one for Jaden to show he can keep the momentum going from a good summer of high school and AAU games.
Evan Ipsaro Evan Ipsaro 5'11" | PG Covington Catholic | 2023 State KY , Covington Catholic – Relatively unknown in the rest of the state because of playing in Northern Kentucky and playing AAU in Indiana, Evan earned his first 2 D1 offers last month and looks like he could be the engine behind a Covington Catholic team that could be preseason number 1 in the state. Keep an eye on Ipsaro and the Colonels this season.
Hagan Harrison Hagan Harrison 6'1" | CG Madison Central | 2023 KY , Madison Central – A 2022 reclass to 2023 and transfer from Montgomery County to Madison Central made for a busy summer for Harrison and he didn’t take long to show his skills as part of a loaded Madison Central roster in June. Hagan is a good athlete and shooter who is likely to be a scholarship level player at the next level. Once he starts using his athleticism as much on defense as he does on offense, Harrison could be a major force in the 11th region.
Kyre Bishop Kyre Bishop 6'0" | PG Shelby County | 2023 NC , Shelby County – Bishop didn’t arrive back in Kentucky until the end of last season and didn’t have much of a chance to show his skills until this summer. In June, Kyre showed the ability to play on the ball and get downhill and attack the rim. In July, the guard showed he can play off the ball as a tremendous defender and high level finisher. His jump shot needs more confidence but Kyre has the tools to be a scholarship level player.
Kai Simpson Kai Simpson 6'3" | PG Frederick Douglass | 2023 State KY , Frederick Douglass – Another 2022 reclass, Simpson started making a name for himself last high school season then put up some huge scoring numbers for Douglass in June and Cave Gym in July. Kai is a big guard who has shown the ability to get to the rim and finish at a high level. It will be interesting to see how he uses the extra year as he could use some added strength and improve his jump shooting to reach the next level.
