<span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Jayden Daniels was a walking highlight reel, on his way to 25 points Daniels made the most acrobatic plays I saw all weekend, displaying a<span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">mazing body control to go along with his supreme athleticism. He even impressed everyone in attendance with his hangtime whenever he c<span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">aught a tough pass in mid-air and finished it off with a reverse windmill layup. Not only did Jayden consistently score within the lane, but he also lit teams up from all around the arc, knocked down contested jumpers in the mid-range, and also beat the defense off the dribble, showing the skillset of a true three-level scorer. Daniels displayed the ability to contribute in more ways than one, he made passes the defense never saw coming, dropping dimes through traffic, moving arms, and tight windows. A f<span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">antastic rebounder for his position as well, Jayden Daniels out leaped and out hustled all 9 guys on the floor to the ball on a consistent basis, his high motor went unmatched.

<span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Jaqari Miles had a stellar weekend, but he really caught my eye when he dropped 22 points on day 3. Miles got buckets from all three levels of the floor but he was at his best in transition where <span style="font-size: 1rem;" data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">c<span style="font-size: 1rem;" data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">ouldn’t be stopped or slowed down, it was like a freight train coming downhill. Jaqari displayed quality athleticism, not only was he strong enough to finish at the hoop through contact but he also proved to be explosive enough to outjump his competitors, and fast enough to beat the defense up the court. The 1UP guard grabbed<span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}"> rebounds and outlet passes and immediately took it the full length of the floor, oftentimes using euro steps or his brute strength to complete the play around defenders.

<span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Luke Cheatham has been on a tear, getting buckets and shooting the ball at a high percentage all summer, so it was no surprise to me when he put up 27 points and 6 three-pointers against Team Buddy Buckets. Cheatham is someone who heats up quickly and once he gets it going there’s no stopping him, he even had a stint where he hit 4 three-pointers in a row. His shooting mechanics were picture-perfect from the release to the elevation, he’s really coming into his own as a shooter and looks as if he's starting to put it all together. Lastly, Luke Cheatham showed a great competitive edge and a lot of toughness as he fought till the tail end and played through all sorts of bumps and bruises

Sean Mays had an all-around dominant weekend but his 15-point performance versus the Tulsa Hawks really stood out. Mays was in full control of the game from start to finish, dominating the glass, protecting the paint, playing the passing lanes, pushing the pace, and scoring consistently from all three levels. This incredible athlete displayed a super explosive first step with long strides that led him to the hoop in just a couple of dribbles, while his strength allowed him to draw and score through any contact that came his way. This 2024 prospect showed a knack for scoring against multiple defenders, his body control in the air was uncanny, Mays hung and twisted his body through and around congested lanes continuously with ease. He also proved to be a knockdown spot-up shooter with a fluid release from each elbow as well as beyond the arc. Dangerous in transition, Sean Mays was uncontainable, starting and finishing fastbreaks all by himself. Defensively, he swatted shots left and right, his timing and anticipation when blocking shot attempts was remarkable. Mays is a very bouncy ballplayer that can get off the ground extremely quickly and easily on both his first and second jump. This attribute along with his aggression and physicality are what make him such a dynamic rebounder, someone that grabs boards right off of the rim, at its highest point. This kid had several stints where he was the best defender, scorer, and rebounder on the floor. Sean Mays is a high motor prospect with remarkable versatility, he can contribute from just about every spot and every position on the court and he’s also on his way to becoming a lob threat. With that being said, the ceiling is incredibly high for this up-and-coming Sophomore.

<span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">6-foot-7-inch Sam Galindo proved to be an absolute sniper from deep as he put up 22 points and 4 three-pointers, 14 points coming in the first half. Galindo racked up buckets without ever putting the ball on the floor, he got the bulk of his shots off of catch-and-shoot three-pointers, put back layups, and cuts to the basket. A true threat with the ball anywhere from the three-point line in, anytime Galindo received the ball he went straight up with it. <span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Incredibly wide wingspan, long-standing reaching, and phenomenal use of it, any ball thrown in his direction was his for the taking. <span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Defensively, Galindo is continuing to develop as a rim protector but he still managed to block 3 shots under the basket and alter interior passes with his length.

He hit shots at such a high rate that defenders were rushing to contest him and he immediately adjusted to it, proceeding to a<span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">ttack over pursuing defenders or open lanes the moment he saw it open. In transition, [player_tooltip player_id="1137809" first="Cohen" last="Edmondson"] was a one-man fast break, his ball speed was amazing and he also had the skills to <span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">take on an entire defense and beat them the full length of the court.
