Cameron Stovall 6’5″ Gateway: A talented lefty forward from Vashon who was very effective on slashing drives to the basket. He could out-quick bigger defenders on the drive and he was too strong for smaller perimeter players. He is also a very active offensive rebounder who collected several putback buckets. In a small-ball lineup, he is a matchup problem with his perimeter skills.
Zach Mings 6’4 ShoMe Assault: An athletic forward from Marshfield who is one piece of a talented front line for the Assault. He is a very active player who works the baseline on offense very effectively. He finds the openings in the defense and he’s an excellent finisher around the basket. He has good footwork and he makes good use of head and shoulder fakes when he needs to.
JD Tate JD Tate 6'8" | PF Spokane | 2023 State MO 6’7 Yanders Law: A big-bodied 2023 post player from Spokane who has a real physical presence in the lane. I like how he is able to establish his position inside and move people around in the lane like furniture. He has a very nice drop step move and a soft shooting touch around the basket.
Ryan Murdock 6’6 Arsenal Hoops: A skilled combo forward from Francis Howell North who was had a very face up game with the ball in his hands. He could turn and knock down the 15 footer or put it on the floor and beat his defender off the dribble for a layup. He was also knocking down 3-pointers off the pick and pop.
Curtis Davenport 6’5 Rain Makers: A solid 2023 forward who is playing up at the 17U level and helped them to a undefeated record over the weekend in Kansas City. He’s physically strong and he has good mobility around the basket, where he can score in the post or operate in the high post off the drive or the short jumper. He also has 3-point range when left open.
