This 6-foot-1-inch scoring guard operated well when given space and in isolation. Thorton knows his spots and has a knack for getting to them regularly. Good footwork, can wiggle and step through tight windows, and score from each level of the floor, he even drew the foul calls at a high rate when penetrating the lane. Josh Thorton has an abundance of untapped potential and raw skills, he’s a big guard that can put up points and he seems like he hasn’t even scratched the surface of his capabilities yet.

No one stood a chance when attempting to box out Cameron Parker near the rim as he followed his teammates’ shots all the way to the basket, creating second-chance buckets and opportunities for his squad. The 2025 prospect was extremely powerful with the ball on the block, the force he backed opponents down with was amazing, he sent defenders flying with his strength down low. On the defensive side of the ball, Parker clogged the lane, his presence alone altered shot and pass attempts within the post.

Trey Tuck | Combo Guard | Team Buddy Buckets 2024

Buddy Buckets guard Trey Tuck looks as if he is on his way to becoming one of the most deadly catch-and-shoot specialists of his class in the state of Oklahoma. He was absolutely deadly when spotting up, catching the ball in rhythm, and letting it fly from any point beyond the arc with and without a hand in his face, displaying a very smooth shooting motion, Tuck never rushed or changed his jumpshot, he shot it with the same poise and confidence every single time. Eventually, the defense attempted to force him to drive and he proved to be able to beat his man off the dribble with either hand from any spot on the floor. Tuck e<span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">xcelled most when attacking closeouts and looking to score at the hoop using his college-ready build to finish through the traffic.

This two-way guard didn’t have to dominate the ball to put points on the board, he often got his buckets within the flow of the offense or off of second-chance opportunities that he created. Very smart player that consistently looked to make the right play at all times, w<span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">henever his team called upon him Hammons was there, making plays on defense and knocking down clutch three-pointers on offense at the most opportune times.
