Ahmad Muhammad (St. Joseph’s)
Muhammad impressed us on the travel team circuit with Kessel Heat. He is a point guard that can dish, but also really shoots it well from 15-18 feet. D2 schools should take a look.
Maurice Commander (Marist)
Lefty point guard that is quick and shifty with the rock in his hands. Does a good job of getting others in the positions to succeed. D2 prospect.
Jalen Hodge (O’Fallon)
Quick and shifty lefty guard that is explosive with the rock in transition. Speed is the best asset of his game.
Thomas Hughes (United Township)
We were huge fans of Hughes when he was younger. His stock has slipped a bit, but with his playmaking ability and scoring acumen he should be considered at the D2, D3, and NAIA level.
Jack Marinko (Edwardsville)
Marinko is a 5’10” point guard that is just emerging on the radar, but projects as a D3 prospect with his perimeter shooting skills.
JJ Flores (Harvest Christian)
Super athletic combo guard that is caught a bit in between positions. Great body control around the rim where he loves to slash too.
Cortez Bailey (Bogan)
Explosive 5’9” point guard that is lightning quick with the rock in his hands. Gets in and out of tight spaces and can put up points in a hurry.
Brandon Ellis (Warren)
Athletic combo guard that has upside at the small college level with quality size at 6’0”.
Brandon Simberg (Libertyville)
Plus spot up shooter that plays with a lot of toughness. Look for him to have a big summer.
Andrew Anderson (Leo)
Tough 5’9” point guard that can score. Opened eyes with his play as a junior.
Carter Higginbottom (St. Ignatius)
Small college guard that runs the show for St. Ignatius. Sound decisions with the basketball.
