The Big Interview: Jack Browder

<p>For the second time, PrepHoopsTN interviewed Jack Browder for a story.  Jack runs with the [program_tooltip program_id='2078773' first='Tennessee' last='Bobcats'] 17u again. Unlike most AAU programs the Bobcats run a single team with players from multiple years combined.  Director Kevin Feltner always has the single 17u team, but top players compete with him for multiple seasons at the 17u level (Grant Ledford, Jack Browder, [player_tooltip player_id="1024931" first="Grant" last="Strong"], [player_tooltip player_id="1029123" first="Dante" last="Oliver"]). </p> <p><em>Interested a phone interview, DM <a href="https://twitter.com/PrepHoopsTN">@PrepHoopsTN</a> anytime.</em></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>How many weekends have you guys played so far?</strong></span><br /> We have played three as a team. I didn't play one weekend, because I had baseball.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>How have you guys played so far?</strong></span><br /> In Atlanta we went 2-2. I missed a game against AOT because of baseball again. We beat AOT. We lost to two other teams and we beat Norcross Heat on a buzzer-beater. I think I had 22 and 13, got hot for minute. </p> <p>This weekend we went 0-4. We didn't have [player_tooltip player_id="1021717" first="Micah" last="Simpson"] for two games on Saturday. [player_tooltip player_id="1029123" first="Dante" last="Oliver"] had a hairline fracture in his wrist in Atlanta, so we were missing both of them.  We lost to 1Family our first game on Friday. All of our games were close, but we haven't been able to finish. We just couldn't stop them scoring really.  In the second half we couldn't keep them from scoring.  </p> <p>All of our games we really kept close. </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Has Coach Feltner mentioned any college coaches reaching out about you yet?</strong></span><br /> I haven't talked to him about that yet.  I am going to reach out to him this week. </p> <p>I know (College of) Charleston reached out to my high school coach.  They invited a lot of our guys to their elite camp.  That is the only thing college-related lately.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What is your role on the AAU team, as you see it?</strong></span><br /> My role is...this tournament we picked up Elijah Gray from Charlotte.  Normally I am either starting of sixth man off the bench. I am a defensive guy mainly. I probably guard the other team's best guard. I am not as much of a scoring threat.  I am a shooter, I guess. I am more of a three-point guy and defensive specialist.  </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What positions do you usually guard?</strong></span><br /> I am guarding the 1,2,3 usually. </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What position do you think you will be in the future (college)?</strong></span><br /> My high school coach talked to some college coaches and some college coaches saw me as a three-point guy, kind of defensive guy.  I have the skill for college.  I have to get stronger and a little bit faster.  They were saying I couldn't guard the 1.  I could guard the 2-4.  </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Tell me about your teammates this weekend.</strong></span><br /> Micah played really well the first game.
