Ryan Oliver | PSB 17u|
Cane Ridge starred Brandon Miller Brandon Miller 6'8" | SF Cane Ridge | 2022 State #18 Nation TN in 2020-2021, rightfully so. Ryan Oliver served up the grunt-work of a Dennis Rodman. Through the early (for Cane Ridge) season wins Ryan did display his exceptional athleticism alongside the intensity and mobility. The grit is a constant still, but what makes Ryan so exciting now is his smoothness with the basketball in his hands. Playing alongside superstar senior-to-be Miller, Oliver did not get the touches he now does and did not routinely show off his scoring skills that he now shows.
Will Biven Will Biven 6'3" | SG Knoxville West | 2022 State TN | BMaze-Biven 17u|
Strong and yet spry. Biven is chiseled like a 1980’s shooting guard. Thunder Dan? The game of Biven is expansive. He does not really have a weakness on the offensive end. He can finish with either hand in traffic. Biven’s area for improvement is certainly lateral quickness when guarding elite guards. Biven can really open up his recruitment if he proves capable of defending any and all guards. Imagine if a college coach could stick Biven on the opposing team’s scorer and free up his lead guard to attack, attack, attack. Adding value as a defender remains within Biven’s reach.
Evan Eursher Evan Eursher 6'2" | PG Webb-Bell Buckle | 2022 State #244 Nation TN | Guard | EAB 17u|
Evan really grew up in the EAB program. He has been with EAB longer than his high school at this point. To watch the program continue to grow and promote young scorers continues to be enjoyable. From Keon to K.J. to Grant to now Evan. Good strength with the ball. Poised. Never rushes. Composed with quicks.
J.J. Wheat J.J. Wheat 6'0" | PG Clarksville | 2022 State TN | Point Guard | PSB-Rise |
Does anybody get to the rim easier than J.J.? Improved his upper body strength in the last year. Struggled some with free throws late in the high school season. Wheat is clever with the ball and will draw his fair share of fouls in his career.
| Marcel Reed Marcel Reed 6'3" | SG M.B.A. (football) | 2023 State TN | Shooting Guard | EAB 16u |
Marcel Reed Marcel Reed 6'3" | SG M.B.A. (football) | 2023 State TN generally lands in any article listing ‘the best __’. He is that dude that keeps walking up to the stage to accept awards at the end-of-year award ceremony. You want to complain, but you realize he is just better than almost everyone else. A true two-sport star.
Kristian Shaw Kristian Shaw 6'6" | SG Beech | 2022 State TN | Wing Guard | PSB-Rise |
Shaw continued to impress new eyeballs during the weekend. Shaw hit 5 three-pointers in a single game after shooting the lights out opening night. In the last few days Youngstown State, Missouri Western, East Tennessee State University, Union, and Palm Beach Atlantic made contact with Shaw’s AAU coaches. Shaw’s handle and slashing ability still need to emerge from the crysalis. While Shaw can mature into a Kyle Korver-type, he is still at the stage of development where the game needs to expand as much as refinement is nice. In order to be the killer scorer that he can be, it would be wonderful to see a rim-hungry slash mixed in with the unguardable triples. Be that butterfly, Kristian!

Quicker than a blink, Micah played great defense and also jettisoned ahead of beleaguered guard defenders in the open floor.
