Blayne Harris Blayne Harris 6'4" | SG Jackson | 2024 State MO , 6-foot-3 forward, Gateway Basketball Club, Jackson HS:
Harris is a long, lanky wing who rips down rebounds and is up the floor in a flash. His ability to push the ball at full speed accelerates the tempo and creates mismatches and fast break baskets. He’s tough and doesn’t mind the contact that comes from his attacking game. Harris is highly skilled and smooth, but he doesn’t rely on his ability alone. He knows effort wins the day.
Jaxon Klein, 6-foot-5 forward, KC Spurs – Black, Blue Valley Northwest HS:
Klein threw his body around the court in KC with reckless abandon. His acrobatic shots often left him crashing to the floor on the end line. But he was right back the next time, ready to do it again. He is a long, springy who can shoot from a variety of angles, and goes high in the air for rebounds in traffic. By playing 100 mph all the time, Klein inspires his teammates to play hard.
Derrick McGee, 5-foot-7 guard, KC Runnin’ Rebels, Kauffman HS:
McGee never stops attacking ball handlers, harassing them with his quick hands. He is a tough and resilient guard who takes a beating and comes right back. He is not afraid to fly into the lane with a drive or to go after a defensive rebound. He’s the consummate point guard, looking to pass and defend rather than get his own shots.
Dylan Sanchez, 5-foot-5 guard, Kansas 94×50 Elite, Shawnee Heights HS:
Sanchez isn’t a big guy, but he gets his hands on a lot of loose balls. When he does, he pushes it up the court aggressively, eyes up, looking to get teammates involved on the run. He’s sneaky, lulling defenders to sleep with the dribble, and slipping up on ball handlers to tip the ball away. He can drive and dish at high speed. His 3-point shot also fires up his teammates.
Taveion Washington, 6-foot-1 forward, Missouri Flight, Glendale HS:
Washington can rebound and push the ball up the court, keeping the tempo up and freeing Flight’s guards to turn and run. He made some flashy plays that fired up his teammates. On defense, he blocked shots and fought for loose balls, sticking his nose in and fighting with tenacity.
Labron Young, 5-foot-5 guard, Cauley-Stein Elite, KC-Washington HS:
Young’s club had a tough go in the PH Live tournament, but the hard-nosed Young just kept battling to the final whistle. He plays with pride and is determined to use the summer club to improve his game. His is an attacking style, getting into the lane and flying around to battle much bigger players.
