[player_tooltip player_id="1171699" first="Ja’Vion" last="Bell"] (Des Moines Lincoln)

A key part of the youth movement going on at Lincoln, Bell is an athletic, 6-4 forward who runs the floor and can finish effectively around the rim. He crashes the glass hard on both ends of the floor and can handle the ball a bit.

[player_tooltip player_id="1171697" first="Cam" last="Buffington"] (Winfield-Mt. Union)

One of two young Winfield bigs on this list, Bufflington is a 6-2 forward who can score inside and out. He averaged 17.2 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists a game for the Wolves, showing his all-around ability to impact the game.

[player_tooltip player_id="1171696" first="Jack" last="Cooley"] (Clarke)

It may not sound like much, but Clarke won seven games last year, which is the best season they’ve had in a while. Cooley, a 6-3 do-it-all player, was a big reason why, averaging 15.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.4 blocks a game. He can play inside and out, defend multiple positions, and facilitate when needed.

[player_tooltip player_id="1171693" first="Cade" last="Courbat"] (Cedar Falls)

Courbat is the younger brother of [player_tooltip player_id="796099" first="Chase" last="Courbat"], who is headed to play his college ball at Northern Iowa. Cade is a 6-6 forward who can score inside and out. He can handle the ball and take his defender off the dribble, and is a great finisher around the rim. He might project more as a wing as we move forward, and he should be a huge part of a very talented Tigers program moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id="1171698" first="Abram" last="Edwards"] (Winfield-Mt. Union)

The taller Winfield-Mt. Union player on this list, Edwards is a 6-5 forward, who like Buffington, can impact the game in a variety of ways. He averaged 13.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 2.9 blocks as a freshman.

[player_tooltip player_id="1171691" first="Anthony" last="Gott"] (Davenport Central)

A 6-7 big with great size and length, Gott played sparingly on varsity for the Blue Devils, but is brimming with potential. He’s a great rim protector and rebounder who can also stretch the floor a bit. Look for him to be one of Central’s best players as a sophomore.

[player_tooltip player_id="1171692" first="Scott" last="Harr"] (Hampton-Dumont)

A young, agile big with a good frame to continue adding strength to, Harr is versatile on both ends of the floor. He’s raw, but has a lot of tools to build on.

[player_tooltip player_id="1171695" first="Matt" last="Noll"] (Sioux City Heelan)

A young big man with the ability to stretch the floor, Noll’s future likely lies on the wing, but with his size right now, we’ll classify him as a big. He’s a high-level shooter who is having an excellent spring shooting the rock for Martin Brothers.

[player_tooltip player_id="1171694" first="Tyron" last="Wright"] (Des Moines East)

An athletic 6-6 big man, Wright was ridiculously productive as a freshman, leading 4A in rebounding at 10.9 boards a game to go with 10.8 points. He’s a great athlete with excellent hands and a great second jump, and he has a nose for the basketball. He crashes the glass hard on both ends, averaging 4.6 offensive boards and 6.3 defensive.
