. This future Division 1 athlete put his explosive athleticism on full display heading into halftime when he turned the corner, drove down the lane with his left, and effortlessly rose off the ground, throwing it down with two hands, exhibiting force and authority as he nearly ripped the rim off the backboard. He impacted the game in several different ways and looks fully prepared to contribute immediately as a defensive and high motor asset at the next level.

At 6’7 2024 Bryson just does all the little things you want out of your post play. He’s a lanky stretch-4 that causes matchup problems every time he’s on the floor. Transition play is huge here, runs the floor every play making life easy for his guards offering a outlet every play. He’s also one of the best finishers in the metroplex, once he get the ball in his spots his soft touch around the rim is almost guaranteed to go in. His wingspan looks almost 7 feet long and that makes him a elite defender and rebounder as well. He blocks shots and tips anything coming his way in the post. Bryson’s stock is headed way up this year. Keep him on your radar.

made a significant impact in the first quarter against DASCHE, displaying his scoring ability by drilling jumpshots despite tight coverage and throwing down two-handed dunks. He played effectively within the flow of the offense and kept the defense on its toes with his ball movement, which should serve him well in a halfcourt set at the next level. Defensively, he excelled against both guards and wings, often forcing quick decisions due to his problematic length. McGlothin’s relentless work ethic was on full display as he secured a number of rebounds by hustling down the floor and crashing the boards. His high motor and team-oriented playmaking made him one of, if not the most impactful player on the court during the game.

Bryson has great upside as a point forward with willingness and ability to be a grab and go guy. He is always near the defensive backboard with first thoughts being ways to start the fast break, however his ball handling and passing skills is what could separate him from the pack. Being able to rebound the basketball and initiate the attack is a precious skill as a point forward/ small forward. Bryson’s high release shoot translates to three point range, but he still possesses the toughness to finish near the basket in traffic. I suspect as he matures and gains more muscle this will improve vastly. A live, long body defender is where he could become special by leading a press and converting turnovers to baskets. I would like to see him develop his mid range game this AAU summer but be on the lookout for this kid.
