Elijah Knudsen Elijah Knudsen 5'10" | CG Mead | 2022 State CO 5’10 PG SW Weld County Elite (featured image) – Knudsen was spectacular. The PG showed a good wiggle and some major shooting ability. In fact, it’s probably unfair to label him as only a shooter. The PG was able to get into the lane and showed a good float game. Fun player that carried his team throughout the weekend.
Lareon Ginnis 5’9 PG Taylor Made Prep 2022 – Had the best burst of any player at the event. When he wants to get by you, there’s nothing a defender can do. Ginnis did it on both ends, locking up opposing PG’s as well with his on-ball defense. A good athlete the junior guard has received offers from New Mexico St, Lasalle, and Alabama St.
DJ Thomas DJ Thomas 6'2" | PG Liberty | 2024 #19 Nation NV 6’0 PG West Coast Rebels 2024 – Thomas was one of the most impressive players at the event. I’m starting to fall in love with his post-up game. Thomas is one of the rare young players that understands how to make the game easier. Perhaps there was no better example of this than when he played PG from the post. Thomas used his craftiness to either score or deliver to teammates.
Damion Byrd Damion Byrd 5'10" | PG Silverado | 2022 State NV 5’11 PG OTTG 2022 – Byrd was solid as an on-ball defender, and facilitator. The PG was at his best when he was able to drive to his strong hand and finish. He showed a good mid-range game, hitting several 15 foot pull up jumpers, and made several clutch buckets for his team throughout the week.
Sean Klekas Sean Klekas 6'0" | PG Elko | 2021 State NV 6’0 PG Elko 2021 – Klekas was an exceptional game manager. He ran Elko’s offense to perfection and did a good job of getting the ball to the shooters and his post-up players. Another two-way player, the scrappy guard did a great job of defending as well.
Gabe Howe Gabe Howe 6'0" | PG Bishop Gorman | 2021 State NV 6’0 PG Team Rogue 2021 – Howe played with a ton of effort and energy. He also made winning plays for his team. The guard showed exceptional paint touch ability, as well as a knack for getting steals. Howe’s best trait was his IQ and his energy, several times gaining extra possessions for his teammates by diving on loose balls.
Devon Arlington 6’3 PG Gamepoint 2022 – Arlington is an exceptional passer, but he’s starting to make noise with his athletic ability. This is the second consecutive week that I saw him hammer home a dunk in a half-court set. Besides that, his handle and passing were spectacular as usual.
