Treasure Valley Classic Recap

Nampa, Idaho September 20th 2020

Big Names:

Mookie Cook 6’7 SF Class 2023 ( Jefferson High School Portland, Oregon)

ESPN top-five player in the country for the class of 2023 playing for Oregon
Prospect 2022 Mookie is an intriguing prospect with his size versatility length
and athleticism he is virtually a point forward on the court the sophomore
showed flashes of brilliance throughout the event when his three point shot is
going he is a match up nightmare for any Forward in the country.

[player_tooltip player_id="787678" first="Lamar" last="Washington"] 6’6 CG Class 2022( Jefferson High School Portland, Oregon)

PAC 12 recruit [player_tooltip player_id="787678" first="Lamar" last="Washington"] continues to improve his body and his play
making ability Lamar ran the show all weekend for Oregon Prospects 2022 he
made three‘s, pull-ups and dished off‘s to others and looked like one of the best
players in the west coast. Stock Riser!!!

Alex Germer 6’7 Forward Class 2021( Missoula Sentinel High School Missoula, Montana)

The Montana State University commit has good size and feel for the forward
position; his shooting ability allows him to pull bigger defenders out of the key
and is his strength. His size allows him to post smaller guys for easy buckets.
Alex activity for Idaho Select made him a standout in the event.

[player_tooltip player_id="855925" first="Darius" last="Gakwasi"] 6’6 SG Class 2021 ( Central Catholic High School Portland,Oregon)

Darius size and 3 point shooting ability have Big Sky and WAC schools chasing
him and for good reason he consistently drained deep 3s, got out in ran the wing
in transition well and made all the right reads with the ball in his hands for
Oregon Prospect 2021 team. He should see his stock continue to rise since the
event he has committed to Princeton University.

[player_tooltip player_id="861091" first="Jackson" last="Shelstad"] 6’0 PG Class 2023( West Linn High School Portland Oregon)

PAC 12 Point guard Jackson is just that the 6 foot lead guard specializes in
running the team controlling pace and getting in the lane with savvy rather that’s
in transition or in ball screen he makes the right reads and gets the right guys the
ball. Offensively he lives off of Kick out threes and mid range pull ups out off the
ball screen. Washington State and Arizona State University is his most recent
offers.

On the Rader:

[player_tooltip player_id="1053822" first="Jaylon" last="Ellis"] 6’1 PG Class 2021 ( O’Dea High School Seattle, Washington)

Jaylon Is determined to improve his stock each weekend and this weekend was
no exception. He scored at all three levels and has a reliable three point shot off
the catch or in ball screen one of the leading scores in the event. Defensively he
use his quick hands and feet to stay in front and control his man. Stock Riser
who recently picked up multiple D-3 Offers.

[player_tooltip player_id="674436" first="Cooper" last="Church"] 6’9 Forward Class 2022 (Tahoma High School Maple Valley,
Washington )

FOH 17U [player_tooltip player_id="674436" first="Cooper" last="Church"] is the definition of the stretch 4 position in college
basketball tall long athletic forward that can shoot the three but skilled enough to
put it on the floor and make decisions. Development wise Cooper’s best days are
ahead of him with added weight and toughness there should be no reason why
he can’t turn his PAC 12 interest into scholarships offers.

Drew Wyman 6’4 SG Class 2021 ( Great Falls High School Great Falls, Montana)

One of the biggest sleepers of the event was Drew. he was the offensive catalyst
all weekend for Idaho Select. The big strong physical guard that plays with IQ and
Balance. His ability to get to paint and play above the rim are good but it was the
combination of his shot making ability and tough down hill drives that makes him
a certifed D-1 Prospect in the northwest Drew recently picked up a
offer from Niagara University in NY.

Kameron Robinson 6’9 Forward Class 2021 (Desert Pines High School Las Vegas, Nevada)

Kam’s body Is going through developmental changes right now which has
allowed him to go from a heavier frame to a slender build. This allows him to be a
lot more active defensively protecting the rim and guarding on the perimeter
while his offense is still a work in progress he shows flashes of knocking down
threes and mid range shots as well as good touch around the rim. The next six
months will decide what level he can play at collegiality.

[player_tooltip player_id="1086705" first="Jamil" last="Miller"] 6’4 SG Class 2023 (Shadle Park High School Spokane, Washington)

Jamil was one of the top prospects in the class at the Pangos Full-Court Utah
showcase and was just as impressive this weekend the ultra athletic combo
guard has a motor that allows him to a multi positional defender. Offensively he
Has a smooth release on his shot That extends past three and makes him a guy
who is a dual scoring treat using his strength to get to rim at will for Seattle
Rotary 15U.

Under the Radar:

[player_tooltip player_id="843746" first="Xavier" last="Bailey"] 6’4 CG Class 2021 ( Lindbergh High School Renton, Washington)

Mr. versatile defended guards, wings, and forward this weekend the big strong
guard got to the rim when he wanted and made plays for others. He knocked
down big jump shots all weekend for Seattle Rotary Blue Xavier has got a lot of
low D-1 and D-2 interest there only a matter of time before the high academic
guard finds a home.

[player_tooltip player_id="843738" first="Champ" last="Spencer"] 6’6 Forward Class 2021 (Sumner High School Sumner, Washington)

Champ is a long lanky combo forward for FOH 17U Who excels at spacing the
floor and shooting the three when smaller guys defend him he has the strength
and savvy to be able to score inside with his advanced IQ and skill set bottom
line is he is a potential D1-D2 Prospect in the Northwest. He has recently picked up a offer from Saint Martins University.

[player_tooltip player_id="931310" first="Chae" last="Haynes"] 6’7 C Class 2022 ( Life Christian Academy Tacoma, Washington)

Chae was the most dominant player in the event for 2022 at 6’7 250 he is a load
to stop inside he has the rare combination of good hands and great footwork for
his size. He excels at using his frame to post down low with his reliable drop step
or jump hook and is a monster on the rebounding end Bottom line is Chae
Haynes is a Big Sky Post Prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id="843745" first="Garrett" last="Long"] 6’0 PG Class 2021( Wenatchee High School Wenatchee, Washington)

Garrett is a very solid point guard all around a quick guard that has great pace,
control and feel for the game. He has the ability to score or set up others on the
ball screen or playing out of close outs excels at running a team and being a
leader for FOH 17U bottom line is in a normal year he would be choosing
between Big Sky and GNAC schools.

[player_tooltip player_id="840385" first="Javonte" last="Darrett"] 6’7 SF Class 2021( Kent Meridian High School Kent, Washington)

Javonte is a long lanky athletic wing that has a very smooth offensive arsenal. He
excels at getting to his spots on the floor and shooting over the top of smaller
defenders or playing out of close outs. He is a reliable 3pt threat and a versatile
defender bottom line JD is a low major D-1 prospect in the west coast with
increased motor.
