Expert Analysis
Jay Anderson | Prep Hoops Scout
Collins climbs into the Top 50 prospects and checks in at No. 45 in the latest update, up from 68 after battling on the EYBL circuit with Team CP3 this past spring/summer. He finished with 9.8 PPG, 4.4 RPG and 1.9 APG as one of their lead guards in the backcourt. As he shows he can limit his turnovers and make good decision at the floor general role for Word of God this season on the OTE stage, look for his stock to grow in the 2025 class on the recruiting trail.

continues to show off his exploits at the lead guard role, though he’ll need to limit his turnovers. He had four turnovers against Team United, while dishing out just two assists along with 11 points and nine rebounds (2 offensive). He was another prospect that shot it confidently as he went 4/13 FG and 3/4 FT. As he learns to get others involved and take care of the ball in space, look for more offers to roll his way with Team CP3.

is starting to find his way at the lead guard spot with Team CP3 on the EYBL scene. He’s shown he can get downhill and make things happen as a scorer and playmaker while putting up 9.7 ppg, 3.2 rpg and 1.3 apg through their first eight games. He’ll need to show he can knock down shots with efficiency and limit his turnovers to prove himself going forward. East Carolina, Hampton and Western Carolina are a few schools that have offered him.

The high-flying combo guard recently added an offer from East Carolina University, a program that seems to be on the rise after recently adding three top ranked players from NC in the past few years. Collins played a reserve role for his high school squad behind numerous high major prospects, but we fully expect for him to have his time to shine in the upcoming seasons.

Collins is a recent mover into the 2025 class in the state that’s joined the Word of God Academy rotation. He’s a two-way presence that knows how to impact the game beyond just scoring the ball given his length and athleticism. He’s a got a nose for the ball mentality when he’s on the floor.
