Jalen Griffith Jalen Griffith 5'9" | PG Simeon | 2023 State IL 5’9 Simeon
Jalen was in his bag of tricks weaving in and out of the lane making flashy layups and passes. He had the ball on a string making some defenders look foolish for attempting to guard him. Lil Griff made some shots from deep as well. He was maybe two turnovers away from becoming a Co-MVP.
Bryce Coleman Bryce Coleman 6'6" | SF Proviso East | 2023 State IL 6’5 St. Joes
Coleman was very assertive in game play. Applying pressure to the defense by attacking the rim hard on drives he made shots through contact. Bryce showed some versatility by making several shots from 15 feet and the three point line.
Davius Loury Davius Loury 6'8" | PF Phhoenix Prep | 2024 State AZ 6’7 Kenwood
Loury was very active around the rim. He is a grab and go forward with decent handles who likes to make contact while finishing through defenders. Davius has a knack for absorbing punishment and dishing it back with a bucket. He made a couple shots from mid-range.
Bryce Tillery Bryce Tillery 5'7" | PG Hillcrest | 2023 State IL 5’10 Hillcrest
The stocky guard who made some nice plays with the ball in his hands. Slick ball skills with good vision. Hit big men in stride with nice touch passes. Tillery made his mark on the defensive side locking up guys forcing tough on ball turnovers which lead to scores on the other end. Another player who can turn up on both sides of the ball and become an energizer for his team.
Raeshom Harris Raeshom Harris 6'4" | SG Bloom | 2023 State IL 6’1 Bloom
Harris came into the showcase touted as a shooter. And that’s exactly what we saw from him. Raeshom made several shots from deep. Still working on his handle he made a few shots attacking the rim. Harris will make the move to Bloom from Hyde Park and he will be a great spacing shooter for them this season.
Bryce Shoto Bryce Shoto 5'6" | PG Plainfield Central | 2023 State IL 5’1 Plainfield Central
Don’t let his size fool you Shoto has big game. He’s a commanding floor general who makes it tough on defenders because he’s quick and able to get into areas other guards can’t. Bryce controlled the paced and used his body well to keep defenders at bay from blocking his shot. Should be a contributor on varsity this season.
Keon Alexander Keon Alexander 6'6" | PF Bolingbrook | 2023 State IL 6’5 Bolingbrook
Alexander was more a traditional forward. Often beating bigs down the court with strong rim runs. He has good hands with mostly left finishes. Keon is very quick off his feet, kept the ball alive with second effort tips, and even had one big tip dunk in the lane with several players around. Alexander feel for the game will continue to get better with time.
