Western PA Guards 2 Watch Under 6'1" Who Should Bolster Stock

Servick is a high-volume scorer who consistently finds ways to light up the scorebook with his performances. He is capable of creating opportunities for himself and his teammates whenever he has the ball in his hands. The southpaw has a clean shooting release and cannot be left open from behind the three-point line, as he will make defenses pay. I like how he utilizes ball screens in the half-court and shifts gears effectively when attacking off the bounce. His shot-making, playmaking, and ability to change speeds give him multiple ways to impact the game. Sample is a fluid guard who shows good body control when attacking the basket and getting to the rack. He has nice timing when going up to contest shots defensively and does a good job using his runner when he gets into the lane. Sample is also a capable shooter from behind the three-point line, giving him another way to contribute offensively. I would like to see him speed up his release, particularly when facing quicker and more athletic competition. I'm looking forward to watching Sample's development over the next several years. I like the way Burkett breaks the game down in the half-court and consistently puts pressure on the defense. He is a threat to score or facilitate whenever he has the ball in his hands and shows the ability to create scoring opportunities off the bounce. Burkett is also an effective off-ball slasher who reads and reacts to the game on the fly. He is the ultimate competitor who understands what it takes to win and consistently finds ways to impact the game. Small-college programs should have Burkett on their recruiting radars. Saxton has good fundamentals and does a nice job using shot fakes to catch defenders off balance and create scoring opportunities. He is a capable shooter from behind the three-point line and also shows the ability to score off the bounce with his in-between game. Saxton plays with poise and understands how to make the most of his opportunities. He projects as a suitable complementary guard in a multiple-guard lineup, where his shooting, fundamentals, and ability to create off the dribble can provide valuable backcourt depth. Shriber is an offensively versatile guard who can get downhill and create scoring opportunities off the bounce. He is also a capable three-point shooter, showing the ability to knock down shots both off the catch and off the dribble. Shriber does a nice job filling the lane in transition and putting himself in position for easy scoring opportunities. I like the versatility he brings to the offensive end and the different ways he can put pressure on opposing defenses.
