Expert Analysis
Tom Keller | Prep Hoops Scout
Sample is a fluid guard who shows good body control when attacking the basket and getting to the rack. He has nice timing when going up to contest shots defensively and does a good job using his runner when he gets into the lane. Sample is also a capable shooter from behind the three-point line, giving him another way to contribute offensively. I would like to see him speed up his release, particularly when facing quicker and more athletic competition. I’m looking forward to watching Sample’s development over the next several years.
