Last Thursday night, the Panthers Basketball Club hosted the latest edition of its Panthers College Showcase, bringing the event to TCNJ's Packer Hall— an invite only showcase that featured 50+ prospects from the 2027 and 2028 classes, including players from both within and outside the Panthers program, giving them an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of dozens of college coaches representing programs at every level. With plenty of talent on display, let's take one last look at some of the prospects who appeared to catch the attention of coaches in attendance and could see their recruitments gain momentum in the months ahead.

[player_tooltip player_id='2858268' first='Sean' last='Perrotta'] is a physically strong and well filled out guard who plays with a noticeable level of toughness and maturity. Perrotta initiates contact with strength off the dribble while providing smooth and reliable shot making, a combination that was on full display in this showing— where mid range pull ups were a big part of his scoring production, stopping on a dime and using his body to bump his defender to create space coupled with strong efficiency from three point range highlighted by a mixture of converting on in rhythm catch and shoot looks off the ball coupled with tough perimeter pull ups off the bounce.

Aggressive in his scoring approach, [player_tooltip player_id='2504891' first='Sean' last='Forbes'] provided plenty of scoring pop in this one. His strong feel for shot selection allowed him to consistently hunt efficient looks without forcing the action and that was evident in his production— impressing the most in his ability to instinctively reject and utilize ball screens for strong in traffic finishes at the rim paired with his pull up shot making ability, both out on the perimeter from beyond the three point arc and getting to space in the mid range area, highlighted by good lift and a high release point on his jumper.

A dangerous perimeter shooter who hunts his shot with clear confidence and can easily find a rhythm, [player_tooltip player_id='2202018' first='Rocco' last='Loomis'] delivered an impressive performance that highlighted the versatility in his shot making ability. With outside shooting having fully developed into the defining aspect of his offensive value, Loomis shot the basketball with efficiency across multiple shot types— deep range accuracy off the catch paired with quick stop on a dime pull ups and smooth turn around fadeaways in the mid range area. While also revealing an added dimension to his offensive skill set, hitting well timed pocket passes in PnR actions paired with the ability to penetrate the heart of the defense and finish with craftiness at the rim.

A lethal shot maker who becomes far more dangerous and harder to contain once he finds a rhythm, [player_tooltip player_id='2874609' first='Jack' last='Toth'] showcased not only the efficiency he shoots it with but also certain intangibles that make him impactful beyond his percentages. Toth's polished shooting stroke, impressive perimeter touch, and quick release proved him to be a reliable threat from deep. However, where Toth impressed even more was his ability to consistently punish defensive lapses in the half court, finding open spots along the perimeter sliding into vacant wing areas to replace guards who drove middle to the basket and filling the corner on a baseline drives, operating as a dependable floor spacer while creating additional driving lanes and offensive space for his teammates.

The continued evolution of [player_tooltip player_id='2683638' first='RJ' last='Wicks']' offensive skill set was evident, particularly in the growing polish of his versatile inside out game. Wicks provided meaningful value as a floor spacer, showing confidence and decisiveness when stepping into open perimeter opportunities, while also remaining highly active on the interior. Wicks' presence in the paint stood out around the basket, where he consistently pursued rebounds, competed in the paint through contact, and worked to win possessions with his energy and physicality.

[player_tooltip player_id='3784780' first='Sean' last='Piperi']'s shooting emerged as a clear foundation of his offensive value, showcasing a polished stroke, quality perimeter touch, and a quick and repeatable release. Piperi converted on open looks with confidence and efficiency, primarily capitalizing on stationary catch and shoot opportunities, allowing him to maintain his effectiveness functioning as a reliable floor spacing threat while at the same time creating additional driving lanes and offensive space for his teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='3591653' first='Logan' last='Wolodkowicz']'s combination of positional size and interior physicality coupled with developing skill allowed him to establish and maintain advantageous positioning around the paint. He showed good hands and touch as a short corner area and low post finisher, converting on dump offs from penetrating guards while also creating second chance opportunities through his work on the offensive glass while showing the physicality and competitiveness necessary to win rebounding battles on the defensive end. His activity around the rim provided value on both ends of the possession, extending opportunities offensively and proving he can secure key rebounds.
