With the release of this latest batch of rankings the clock towards the next one at the end of the high school season begins. Players don't all develop at the same rate or the sane time, meaning rankings are by nature, a fluid exercise. With that in mind, here's five players who could see their stocks rise in the coming months and the case for each

A move back to 2029 and joining upstart program QA Academy look like solid moves for the Long Island native. He was one of the top 30 players at Pangos All-East camp this past weekend and stood out due to his passing. Given that he's had multiple 25+ point games in fall league play, there's little the talented combo guard can't accomplish on the offensive end of the floor. With minimal separation between spots 2-7, a strong season will see Toney move up further.

This AAU season Hansen showed real development from prospect to productive player. The 6-foot-8 big man continued to show good touch around the rim, but showcased improving confidence as a shooter from the high post and from deep. With long arms and good motor, he is a factor as both a rebounder and shot blocker, and seemingly is an ideal fit for the modern game. Furthermore, there isn't a ton of players on the island that will be able to match up with him from a strength and size standpoint. Sitting at #15 currently, if he does in fact establish himself as one of the best on Long Island, a bump in the rankings is likely to follow.

It's been an impressive end of summer and into the fall for the Earl Monroe transfer, who looks poised to anchor the paint for Monsignor Scanlan this season. What he lacks in height, he makes up for in strength, and his finishing will be a welcome addition to a Crusader roster that is heavy on guard play. The Bronx program looks like an improved team overall, one capable of hoisting the CHSAA crown in what appears to be a wide open season.

A move to Redemption Christian theoretically offers a big step up for Patrick. A talented wing at 6-foot-6, Patrick is just starting to understand how good he can be. His ability to put the ball on the floor and get his own shot either driving to the basket or pulling up makes him a dangerous scorer. As the AAU season went on, he made an impact defensively more consistently, and proved to be a good rebounder as well. If he fills out and continues to round out his game, look out.

Another talented shooter, Saulter was fantastic throughout the AAU season, winning All-MHC 1st Team honors in the process. Now standing closer to 6'3 than 6'2, the guard is capable of being the primary scoring option of an offense while also getting his teammates involved. He will be the focal point of a Friends Academy team that has designs on a league championship. His high IQ and playmaking ability as well as his scoring give him the tools to have a monster sophomore campaign. If that's the case, Saulter could vault up the rankings.
