Rehrer really stood out to me at the end of last season, in a game where Ethan Harris played limited minutes and Camas leaned heavily on their guard play. He reinforced all of what I liked and more this past weekend at the Hoop Summit.

He's a kid who does not lack confidence, and displays the toughness needed to have an impact as a player under six-feet tall. Has the ball control to prod gaps, excel in the pick-and-roll, and shows shooting touch from each level. Just plays under control, on balance, and is a calming force for his team. He'll be a key player for the Papermakers this winter and is a kid lower-level local schools should check in on.

Saw Cornelison post impressive stats last winter (14.6 pts, 8.1 rebs, 2.0 ast, 2.7 stl) but really got my first in-person look at him at The Expo this fall. He's a kid who has a relentless motor that has him in on plays on both ends of the floor. Will knock down open shots, but also just never gave opponents any slack. He was always on go, crashing boards, running in transition, working hard defensively, and letting the ball breath on offense. Received and converted a ton of high-percentage looks just off his hustle and being in the right spot at the right time.

Fiorito popped last season as a kid with a smooth jumper and enough burst to separate on a quick one-dribble pull-up, but has showcased a lot more to his game as we get closer to the 2026-27 season. He's done a great job attacking out of a strong base, whether that is going against the grain off the catch, using quick jabs to get separation or set up a drive, or ripping through defenders to get downhill. He is still a kid who has touch from each level, but he seems to be playing with more strength and pace, and will be a rising senior to watch this winter.

Rasmussen is a post who will work hard on the glass, defending the blocks, and has the mobility to get up and down the floor and contribute in transition. He's been showing better hands not just while pulling down rebounds, but making tougher catches in traffic around the paint, being ready for quick dump offs and hot passes coming his way, and it's allowed him to capitalize on more efficient looks around the rim. He should get more minutes with Roosevelt this winter and could be on the receiving end of a lot of passes from point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2751611' first='Jason' last='Dollar'].

Ludwick has showcased his ability to be a real threat in the pick-and-pop, as well as attacking from the mid-post and perimeter. Saw glimpses of his shooting ability earlier in the spring and summer, and he continued to show more and more ability to knock down open shots and shots off of one-dribble pull-ups. He's got good size and will attack the ball off of the rim too. Should be able to fill a key role with Shorewood this winter and play well off of their slashing guards.

Everything with Clement has looked just a click quicker as he heads into his senior season. The shot gets off quicker, he gets to his spots quicker, the first step off the catch is quicker, and all put together, has Clement looking like a potential all-league player this coming winter. He's always shown the shooting stroke and the IQ to get to good spots, mix up his attacks, and utilize ball bakes. Now that he's moving a step quicker, he's accentuated those skills and can find space easier.

The 6-foot-5 wing from Central Valley has been on our radar as a floor spacer with some length, but he's really filled in the gaps in his game this spring and summer, rebounding at higher rate, showing an ability to put the ball on the floor, attack closeouts, and finish at the rim. It has really seemed to allow him to play quicker, but also with more confidence and an ability to process quicker. The Bears should be ready to build off a solid 2025-26 season, and will be a strong team on the east side of the state this winter.

Have loved how Murphy has improved his game over the last few months. He has a big frame and is able to get his weight behind on him drives while still maintaining the balance to adjust in traffic. Has also been a good mover off the ball, particularly with quick flashes off paint touches to open space from dunker spots and 45s from the weak side. His strong finishing, along with his ability to chip in boards, block a shot or two, and his steadily improving set jumper, have all improved his stock as he heads into his senior season at Davis.

Frolov has been the definition of an additive player whenever I have seen him live. He has enough bounce and strength to finish high and strong at the rim, shoots well enough to be a threat from three, and generally makes good reads with the ball. Doesn't take plays off, will contribute through every phase of the game, and has the size to play multiple positions. He's a kid I think a lot of schools would be lucky to have, who seems to have the mentality to fit in and contribute.
