He effortlessly weaved in and out of traffic to get into the lane where he could facilitate or finish in a number of ways. Always seemed to have his eyes up and scanning the floor even when in traffic. He was active pressuring the ball, and with his team full-court pressing all game long, Jovani's energy helped force a bunch of turnovers throughout the game. A bit longer than his 5'10 height suggests which helped him get up in passing lanes and cut off gaps. At 5'11 he has some emerging length out on the wing, with range extending to a few feet behind the arc. He started off the second half strong, coming off a screen, taking a couple dribbles, and then draining a three from the left wing. That effort saw him come up with a steal shortly after checking in, which he then launched ahead leading to a good look at the rim for a teammate. Always had his eyes scanning the floor looking to pass it ahead in transition. He's an absolute pest on the ball with elite lateral quickness that allowed him to stick like glue to opposing point guards. All game long he was disrupting the flow of the offense and creating loose balls with his quick hands. Despite being one of the smallest players at the event, Robert competes on the glass and came up with a handful of rebounds in the game I watched. Early on in the opening game of the day he came slashing in from the wing leading to an easy finish at the rim. Strong finisher in traffic who keeps his chin at the rim allowing him to convert at a high percentage. At 6'2 he's a dangerous slasher, and that showed as he made a nice spin move to get to the rim on his first possession. That was followed up shortly after by a backdoor cut that saw him beat his man to the hoop for two points. Already at 6'3-6'4, Chase has a strong frame that makes him an imposing physical presence inside. Did well to face up and zip in passes over the top of smaller defenders to find a teammate cutting to the rim. Even at his size Chase did a nice job of moving his feet in the full-court press, and was consistently beating opposing bigs up the floor in transition.
