Listed at 5'6, he can absolutely fly up the floor with the ball in his hands. On multiple occasions he took a rebound or outlet pass and simply blew by a handful of defenders to get all the way to the rim. Despite often being the smallest player on the floor, he's fearless attacking the basket and showed impressive body control for a handful of finishes over taller defenders. He was always scanning the floor for an open teammate, and early in the game he picked up an assist by throwing the ball ahead to a teammate sprinting the floor. We saw him spend some time running the point, where he's calm under pressure and is able to make smart decisions with the ball. Nice looking shot from three with the ability to quickly get squared up off the catch to get off his shot before a defender can close out. He was one of the best rebounders under 6' I saw all weekend, as he's constantly crashing the glass on both ends, and is quick off the floor to pull down rebounds in a crowd. On the offensive end that scrappiness on the glass resulted in a couple of second-chance buckets for Colin to keep his team in the game. That effort resulted in an easy finish within the opening minute of the game I watched, as he simply beat his man up the floor. Catch-and-shoot threat with a nice looking stroke from out beyond the arc. Already listed at 6'+, he has length on the wing, with some good strength on his frame as a freshman. That combination of size and strength helped him guard nearly every spot on the floor in the game I watched. At 6'3 he provided some much needed length for one of the smaller teams at the event, providing a strong rebounding presence inside. He's a hard working forward who crashes the glass, runs the floor hard, and does a nice job of using his length to disrupt shots inside on the defensive end.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
