The Expo: Team 6 Evals

We had over 90 athletes attend the boys expo and some of the best in the 2027 and 2028 classes competed against each other. Here's the evaluation for team 6.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#3 - [player_tooltip player_id='3758359' first='Luke' last='Rojan'] - West Valley HS</strong></em> - Luke is a quick guard who can attack relentlessly and get paint touches for his team. He knows how to utilize screens, finding his open rollers often and making accurate passes to them rolling. He facilitates nicely and keeps his eyes up when pushing in transition, always pushing the pace well for his squad. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#80 - [player_tooltip player_id='2548202' first='Ellis' last='Mosley'] - Emerald Ridge HS</strong></em> - Ellis has a great frame as he can stay strong in the paint and utilize his strength well on the rebounds. He boxes out well and hustled every possession during the showcase and played very unselfish, always making the extra pass. He was a great defender all day too, being able to guard all 5 positions and rarely give up buckets. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>#102 - [player_tooltip player_id='2775056' first='Sebastian' last='Hansford'] - Kennedy Catholic HS</em></strong> - Sebastian played with confidence throughout the day, letting his shot from deep fly when he was open. He came off screens well, using them to have space to knock down threes with ease. He was ready to attack the paint and gaps on the defense, always being unselfish in making the extra pass to his teammates. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#119 - [player_tooltip player_id='3675734' first='Cartier' last='Ferguson'] - Ferris HS</strong></em> - Cartier played elite defense throughout the day, showcasing his athleticism during a chase down block he had during 5v5 play. Ferguson has nice size, standing around 6'6” and is always hustling for the ball and going for rebounds. His soft touch around the rim was apparent all day long too, as he did a great job getting buckets down low. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#209 - [player_tooltip player_id='3258628' first='Braden' last='Santos'] - Grandview HS</strong></em> - Braden was a standout during the showcase and his athleticism catches your eye instantly when you watch him play. He rises above the rim and can dunk on opposing players if they stay under the hoop when he drives with intensity. He can knock down jumpers too, being able to rise nicely above opposing players. He uses his strength in the paint to out-body players to grab rebounds end finish around the rim at a high percentage.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#314 - [player_tooltip player_id='3697266' first='Julien' last='Zupan'] - Bainbridge HS</strong></em> - Julien is a high IQ, fundamental player who is able to pick apart defenses nicely. He stays patient and plays under control, getting smooth buckets from all 3 levels. He has a quick crossover that helps him create space for himself to get his shot off or be able to find an open teammate. He always stayed ready to shoot and defended nicely throughout the day, he was fun to watch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>#331 - [player_tooltip player_id='3754399' first='Brayden' last='Andrews'] - Battle Ground HS</em></strong> - Brayden played with a high IQ during 5v5 play, being able to leak in transition quickly to get easy buckets. He utilized his speed to out-run players to get open and also his athleticism to finish through contact in the paint. He was a great defender too, rarely having up buckets and being able to stay in front of ball handlers. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>#504 - [player_tooltip player_id='2547463' first='Matthew' last='Fredrickson'] - Bellevue HS</strong></em> - Matthew's game was on full display throughout the day, showing his ability to score at all 3 levels and staying confident in his ability to get to the rim and finish through contact. His ability to create space helped him knock down jumpers from the mid-range level and be an elite playmaker throughout the day too. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
