Delbridge popped a few years a go and really put together a strong Junior year. He helped Deer Park win a ton of games, he ran the offense, got others involved and go better through out the season. His effort is infectious, he has fun on the court, plays hard and has all the makings of an NY guard. We predict he battles for Suffolk MVP all season and if his shots falling the league better watch out.

Edmundson is the top shooting prospect in the area and gas great size. The staff at Kings Park really has done of good job of getting him comfortable on the perimeter plus get him a ton of good looks. He's way tougher than you think, he's got a nice feel for the game, he's a terrific kid and very reliable. Will be interesting to see how Edmundson can take this group and how many points he will average per game.

Gorwitz you may not know but if you play in Section XI against BBP you certainly do. He's a strong and physical guard who likes to get in the paint and create havoc. His 20 points a game last season were massive for his team and they will expect him to provide even more as he goes for the scoring title. The Phantoms are one of my sleeper teams in the area this season especially if they can continue to unlock their star's potential.

The best hidden gem in Section XI might be Weslek because he's got game but plays all the way out in Shelter Island. He's got excellent size, took huge steps last year and was able to average over 20 points a game. His hands and footwork are solid, he's all over the boards, can protect the paint and still has plenty of room for development. Weslek has a great chance to lead the county in scoring and if he does the college recruitment should follow.

Trent returns for another season with the Clippers after averaging over 18 points and being one of the most productive guys in the league. He's athletic, aggressive, physical and gets a ton of usage. His scoring comes in waves, he can produce at all three levels, he contributes on the boards and has improved as defender. This could be his best year yet as he looks to close out his accomplished career with a bang.

HillsEast had an interesting year with some ups and downs but they did find their future point guard. Rossi is a pure playmaker that takes care of the ball, gets others involved and runs the offense. He gets in the paint, he moves the ball, makes the right play plus is deadly from beyond the arc. This staff will look to maximize his usage this season, his role, opportunities and numbers should all see a nice boost.

Ehlers has been a part of the Commack core for multiple seasons and this year it could be his show. He's a quality prospect that can be a daily double double threat, he makes the right play and values winning. His numbers won't ever be the best but his team will run most of the offense through him. Commack has been a steady program but if Ehlers has the type of year he's capable of they could be in the title mix.

Napoleon had a bit of a breakout season as Junior but expectations are even higher for this year. He's a slick guard who thrives in transition, he can get by his man, create his own shot and loves to push the pace. This summer he's worked on building off that momentum and looks even sharper. His coaches at Glenn rave about him and his work ethic plus his teammates seem to love him.

Longwood found themselves a steady point guard last year in Wilson and he's back for his final season. He's quick, plays extremely hard, takes care of the ball and can score when his team needs it. His role will include developing some of the younger guys on the teams but also keeping his foot on the gas. This team seems ready for a jump in the championship discussion but Wilson will have to be fantastic for them to get there.
