(Blackman) continues to soar. Always a grinder and a devoted gym rat, Miles is now getting elevated attention from Division 1 college basketball coaches. In the coming weeks Alexander will visit Belmont University and Lipscomb University. "Gonna get Middle Tennessee, Tennessee Tech, and Murray State on the schedule before the end of the month. Furman, Mercer and UT Martin and a few others have called Coach [Barry] Wortman asking for our workout schedule."
Morehead State University, Tennessee State University, Eastern Kentucky University, Alcorn State, Southeast Missouri, and Southern Indiana offered him already.
A top 10 player in the state, Miles maintains interest from Belmont, Appalachian State, South Alabama, Wofford, Air Force, Middle Tennessee, Cal State-Fullerton, Chattanooga, Austin Peay, Lipscomb, Omaha, Bowling Green, Murray State, Tennessee Tech, Bellarmine, and UTEP.
If you are interested in a younger Blackman talent, and even if you are not, take a look at Eddie Lynch III Eddie Lynch III 5'10" | PG Blackman | 2029 State TN . Skilled, talented. He debuts in our Class of 2029 rankings at #67. Lynch III just missed making the PrepHoopsTN Combine All-Star team.
Eddie is a high ceiling guard. Lynch III earned one coach's vote for All-Star. He showed that he could be either your lead guard or your secondary ballhandler. Lynch III must add some heft to dissuade power guards from posting him on the blocks. No glaring weaknesses. Highly skilled for a sophomore. This was his PrepHoopsTN Combine evaluation. Lynch III ran a 3.54 second sprint in the 3/4-quarter dash.

. Goggins is a former PrepHoopsTN Combine MVP and a tall, versatile scoring wing. He will play college basketball somewhere next year.
Smyna Notes
During the PrepHoopsTN Combine in June, Bray’lon Leake Bray’lon Leake 6'4" | SF/PF Smyrna | 2029 State TN earned placement in the All-Star Game. The 6-foo-3 sophomore guard performed with flair and grace. Extremely silky. Difficult to check. Leake recorded 3.34 second and 3.37 second 3/4-court sprint times and his 8'5" standing reach stood out. This season will be intriguing as Smyrna Head Coach Omar Smith decides how many minutes the tall wing plays. Expect a breakout season for Bray.
Riverdale Notes
The Warriors of Riverdale High hired a new basketball coach. Welcome Mark Brown to the district! Coach Brown was a vital assistant at Hillsboro in 2025 when the Burros won the 4A State Championship and he earned both a B.A. and a Masters of Sport Management from Cumberland University. Nashville raised Coach Brown. This is high first head coaching position.
Senior Evan Wilkerson Evan Wilkerson TN just picked up a Johnson University offer.

Evan is a 6-foot-1 wing guard with a strong Grade Point Average of 3.7/4.0.
