MSHTV Camp: 6th Grade Standouts (Scoring Guards)

Westfield, IN — The 11th annual MSHTV Camp featured talented young prospects from across the country, giving our staff an opportunity to evaluate players across several age groups throughout the 2026 camp. As our coverage of the Class of 2033 continues, we shift our attention to a group of scoring guards who consistently found ways to produce on the offensive end. This group included shot-makers, aggressive downhill attackers and guards with the versatility to create offense from multiple areas of the floor. Whether creating their own looks or capitalizing on opportunities within the flow of the game, each guard provided a different approach to putting points on the board. Here is a closer look at some of the top scoring guards from the Class of 2033 at the MSHTV Camp...    Lex Brown was one of the more productive scoring guards at the MSHTV Camp, finding offense from multiple areas of the floor. His craftiness was especially effective when attacking the basket, where he used his handle and change of direction to work past defenders and get downhill. Brown also proved capable of making shots from the perimeter, giving defenders another element to account for. His combination of ball-handling, shooting and ability to create off the dribble allowed him to consistently generate offense throughout the camp.     Stevon Freeman had one of the more complete offensive skill sets among the guards at the MSHTV Camp. He created separation with crossovers, spin moves and a variety of moves off the dribble, giving him plenty of options when attacking defenders. Freeman also stretched defenses with his ability to comfortably knock down shots from well beyond the three-point line. Between his handle, creativity and shooting range, he possesses an advanced collection of offensive tools for a guard his age.     Harrison Knotts further established himself as one of the most advanced guards in the Class of 2032 with his play at the MSHTV Camp. He has an impressive command of the game, operating at his own pace and consistently creating quality offense without being sped up. Knotts has a smooth jumper, creates well off the dribble and has the vision to make plays for others when the defense commits to him. His combination of scoring skill, feel, creativity and overall polish places him among the premier guard prospects in the class nationally.     Weston Nolan played with a relentless pace at the MSHTV Camp, attacking possessions with energy and aggression whenever the ball was in his hands. His handle allowed him to get downhill consistently, where he was at his best putting pressure on the rim and finishing in traffic. Nolan carried that same mentality to the defensive end, willing to get physical and compete on every possession. His combination of speed, toughness and attacking ability made him a productive two-way guard throughout the camp.     Roosevelt Walker consistently found himself involved in productive possessions at the MSHTV Camp. He was primarily a scorer, generating offense at a high rate and finding different opportunities to put the ball in the basket, but also had the passing ability to create for teammates when defenses collapsed toward him. Walker remained active on the other end as well, staying engaged defensively and showing good instincts for finding the basketball.
