Here are the six unranked prospects that shined at the Prep Hoops Minnesota Freshman Showcase!

Torwon is a very versatile prospect that brings a lot of energy when he is on the floor. He is a strong 6'0” guard that is at his best when getting downhill and attacking the basket. He is also a menace defensively and was causing disruption when pressuring the ball. This led to several fast break opportunities when Nuahn could use his athleticism to make a full speed finish at the rim.

Trasean was a beast inside at camp and absolutely dominated with his size and athleticism. He could not be stopped on the offensive glass, coming away with several contested boards, which led to putback baskets. He is already a phenomenal rim protector, using his 6'4” frame, elite bounce, and long wingspan to block and alter shots. I really like White's potential and I expect him to make a difference at the varsity level as a freshman, alongside his two older brothers.

Logan filled it up in the one game I saw, scoring in a variety of ways. He was one of the smaller players on the floor, but impressed me with his ability to drive, make a quick spin move, and finish through traffic. He could also finish around the rim with a floater. Fitterer did most of his damage on shots from beyond the arc, knocking down several three-point looks off the catch and hitting on a step back three.

Gavin was a very tough player to match up with, as he is already a very strong wing. He used his big 6'0” frame to attack the basket and finish through contact, getting to his right hand every time. Defenders would be in the right spots, but it did not matter, as he could power right through them. Hook was a very efficient player and made things happen with the ball in his hands.

I thought that Austin turned in a solid day at camp, as I was able to see him in both 5v5 and 3v3 action. He is an unselfish player who can impact the game in a variety of ways. He is a smart player who rarely forced the ball or made bad decisions, playing a major part in generating high quality shots for his team. He showed good touch from the perimeter and around the rim, as well as making some impressive passes to teammates.

Max really impressed me with his ability to attack the basket and play physically inside. He has pretty good size for a freshman guard prospect, relentlessly getting downhill where he could finish at the rim in a variety of ways through contact. Miller could get it and go in the half court, but was also effective when running the floor and making a play in transition.
