How Team 12 Dominated the Freshman Showcase

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There are many great days across the busy Indiana High School Basketball schedule. However, few compare to our annual Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase and Prep Hoops. On Sunday, September 6th at the Noblesville Boys &amp; Girls Club we hosted nearly 250 of the best underclassmen in the state. King is already very tall for a freshman and looks physically strong, especially when he drives to the basket through traffic. King is an excellent rebounder who goes up for the ball. Underneath the rim, he can spin off contact / blockers and flashes good instincts with finding open players on screens. What impressed me the most about him was his leaping ability, especially as a rebounder – he really goes up for the ball like a big tight end in football. I was really impressed with his ball skills and shooting ability. He can dribble back between his legs, set his feet and shoot. He displays ability to score layups through traffic on drives to the basket. Miller is very good with the ball in his hands, especially in the middle of the air. Miller made an impressive basket driving and jumping through the lane, switching to his opposite hand in the middle of the air. Cannon is a good rebounder who flashes quick hands. Already 6-foot-4, his ceiling could be limitless. Already standing tall at 6-foot-5, he is a well-built player who already has lean muscle to his frame. Left open, he was automatic from the three-point line in the first game and shoots with great form. I thought he was one of the most ‘complete' prospects at the camp. He has a nice pull-up jumper, he flashes being a good rebounder, and can really drive to the hoop.
