CP3 Rising Stars National Camp: Superlative Awards (Razorbacks)

Winston-Salem, NC — The 14th annual CP3 Rising Stars National Camp featured Class of 2030 prospects from across the country competing in Winston-Salem. Players went through skill development and station work before transitioning into five-on-five action, where our staff was able to evaluate how their games translated to a team setting. The competition provided a closer look at each prospect's strengths, decision-making and ability to contribute in different areas of the game. As our team-by-team coverage continues, we take a closer look at the Razorbacks and several players who delivered strong performances during the event...    Miles Moten gave another glimpse of his considerable ceiling at the CP3 Rising Stars National Camp. His athletic tools immediately translated to different areas of the game, allowing him to finish plays offensively, cover ground defensively and provide activity in transition. There is still a lot of development left in his game, which makes his current production even more encouraging. Moten has the physical foundation and versatility to continue expanding his game, giving him significant long-term potential within the 2030 class.     Eddie Braswell entered the CP3 Rising Stars National Camp after putting together one of the strongest summers among 2030 prospects, and his value as a lead guard remained evident. Braswell operated with complete control, rarely allowing pressure or the speed of the game to affect his decision-making. His court vision allowed him to recognize openings early, deliver passes on time and consistently create quality opportunities for teammates. He played at his own pace, knew when to attack and consistently made the players around him better. Braswell had the qualities you look for in a guard responsible for leading a team.     Trey Cannady took pride in his work defensively at the CP3 Rising Stars National Camp. He was a gritty on-ball defender who sat down in his stance, moved his feet well and consistently stayed in front of his assignment. Cannady rarely gambled or put himself out of position, instead relying on discipline and anticipation to make things difficult for opposing guards. His defensive IQ was apparent in the way he read actions, navigated possessions and applied pressure without sacrificing positioning.     Few players matched Jayden Nunez's production on the glass at the CP3 Rising Stars National Camp. His combination of size, strength and physicality allowed him to control space around the basket and consistently put himself in position to secure rebounds. Nunez was difficult to move once he established position, using his frame to keep opponents away from the ball and finish possessions. His physical advantages created matchup problems around the rim and made rebounding one of his biggest strengths at the event.     Shane Gottingar provided plenty of scoring production at the CP3 Rising Stars National Camp and consistently carried a large share of the offensive load for his team. He displayed a polished three-level scoring package, creating offense at the rim, in the midrange and from behind the arc. Gottingar was comfortable generating his own looks and had different answers depending on how defenders played him. His scoring versatility, skill level and room for continued growth give him considerable upside moving forward.     Javion Morris put together a well-rounded showing at the CP3 Rising Stars National Camp, doing a little bit of everything to help his team. He picked his spots offensively, battled for rebounds and gave consistent effort defensively. What made Morris effective was his feel for making the right play at the right time, whether that meant scoring, moving the basketball or handling an assignment on the other end.
