His explosiveness translated into finishes around the basket, plays in transition and activity away from the ball offensively. Dial was just as effective defensively, where his quickness and athleticism allowed him to cover ground, pressure opponents and make plays in different areas of the floor. He played with a polished handle, combining quick changes of direction with good control to consistently create advantages against defenders. Reason was difficult to contain once he got into his dribble, finding ways to create separation and work his way into favorable spots on the floor. He applied consistent pressure at the point of attack and made it difficult for guards to get comfortable initiating offense or controlling the flow of their team. Fox also provided versatility with the types of perimeter assignments he could handle. He tracked missed shots well and displayed strong hands when collecting the ball through traffic. Collier pursued rebounds outside of his immediate area and remained involved on the offensive glass, generating extra chances for his team. Iverson's ability to score in different ways kept defenders from settling into one approach against him. His combination of length, size and a solid frame gave him an advantage in traffic, where he handled contact and was effective around the paint. Persin also embraced the less noticeable parts of the game, consistently making the right read, helping teammates and staying involved away from the basketball.
