City of Basketball Love hosted its annual fall Interstate Shootout this past weekend, bringing in nearly 120 teams from five states to compete over a stacked two days of action in Philly. Keep reading for a look at several 2028's who made strong first impressions over the course of the weekend.

The Duhaney name should be a familiar one to followers of the Mid Penn Conference as Ryan's brother Malachi is expected to be the senior leader for Chambersburg this year as an energetic hybrid forward. After playing sparingly last season, Ryan now looks to be coming into his own quickly himself and could grow into a really dynamic piece for the Trojans by the time the postseason rolls around. He brings great size and athleticism to the backcourt, spending most of his time initiating offense with an instinctive handle and a persistent nose for the rim. Duhaney can be a bit out of control at times but plays with great energy on both ends of the floor. He's a hesitant shooter but does show a capable foundation both off the catch and in the pullup game. There's a lot of intriguing tools to work with here as Duhaney begins to refine his game with added reps and experience.

Potentially the most explosive athlete of any new find on the weekend, Barrett turned heads on multiple occasions with high-flying dunks in the open floor. That got us to pay attention but his game got us to stick around, with Barrett bringing great size to the perimeter along with a functional straight-line handle, dynamic first step, and ability to finish at the cup with either hand. He also looked comfortable on a handful of relatively smooth attempts from the perimeter. There's room for Barrett to play a bit harder and make more use of his strong upper body in the floor game, but the natural talent is evident and should place the emerging swingman among the breakout names in District 1 this year.

Overlea was the only Maryland program to make the trip up I-95 and Greene did well to take the opportunity and put himself on the map. Coming off the bench for the Falcons, he caught the eye with an intriguing frame and smooth offensive skillset. Greene has nice size with a rangy build and length to grow into. He plays a controlled but confident game highlighted particularly by his fluid mechanics as a pullup shooter out to the perimeter. He also uses his length and quick feet to make an impact guarding the ball. Greene will benefit on both ends of the floor by starting to add strength to his frame, and could also continue strengthening his handle to be more of a true lead guard, but he certainly looks on track to find a home at the collegiate level down the line while stepping up from the JV ranks.

It was impossible to watch WesTech on Saturday without being struck by the raw outlines of Nnebe's frame. A deep reserve on the Panthers' sectional title team last year, he's been thrust into the starting five and catches the eye immediately with his size and massive length on the perimeter. He's still extremely skinny but moves but moves really well in space while staying active in pursuit of the ball. Nnebe plays more of a frontcourt role for the Panthers right now but shows potential to move further to the wing over time. Nnebe may never be much of a ballhandler but the path to real 3-and-D value is clear if he can develop into even a mildly reliable perimeter shooter.

Colonia pulled off a sizable second-half comeback on Saturday morning and Charles was a key reason why with his energetic play off the bench. A versatile utility wing, he's strong, physical, and athletic with an exceptionally high motor. Charles showed the ability to knock down an open shot from the perimeter and was a threat to push the ball up court in transition. He got himself a bit out of control at times and is somewhat of a tweener at the college level but his energy and athleticism should provide the Patriots with an intriguing wild card.
