The Expo is a few days out and the deadline for that is later today so we're making our final push for filling it up with players who we feel can actually boost their stock. We've seen this specific group have some moments that made us think that there might be more with these prospects but we just want to see it on this stage. Bentley is one of the biggest question marks in this class for me specifically as I really enjoyed what I saw from him this Summer but it also makes no sense to me that he hasn't had a bigger buzz throughout his high school career. From what we saw from him he's big, assertive and you can throw him into any lineup and he can make something good happen. With that frame he can cause damage and this should be the year that it opens up for him. He can come to the event and get some eyes on him and put together a two-way standout kind of day. I think he could surprise this year, and we want to be the first on it.     Jack came out as an under the radar player who got on our radars for Legacy last year and had some moments that he seemed to be the spark that the team needed. He steps into an even bigger role this year where he will be asked to score more, to make plays for others and be a difference-maker on both ends of the floor and from what we saw from him at times, he can be that. But can he do it on a night-to-night basis and against top talent? That's a question that remains unanswered. He should come into this event with a chip on his shoulder and ready to prove himself.     I saw Eagan at the UNC Team Camp and he played so well at that event as a complimentary piece who could be impactful that I wanted to see more of that. He was a solid bench piece at Colorado Live and I said, there's something to his game that keeps me attached. He's sneaky athletic, he's quick and decisive and while he doesn't look to just score, he's trying to find ways to be effective on the floor and that's something that can translate and he could bring to the showcase. He's an under the radar player that this could benefit.     Carter stood out to me and jumped on my radar as a new name standout at the TuneUP Co and we certainly want to see more of him. He has solid size at 6'7, a motor and he was able to be a defensive menace in the games that we saw him and it made us think, how would that look against some of the better players in the state or in a different setting. Well, that could be him showing up this weekend and putting on a show and further boosting his stock. He has some tools that not many other players in the state has, he plays above the rim and a high ceiling and we want to see more games of him showcasing those things. This is his chance to build on that name as he could be a breakout candidate this season.     Cherokee Trail does not have many post players so against those teams with size, he can be the difference and a go-to option to match that size and intensity and we have saw it at times during the Summer where he's free flowing and effective, but we'd like to see more of it and for it to translate into the season. This is a spot to show that he's better than advertised. We saw him last night at the Grandview league and he has a ton of energy and at 6'6, he has size that can be overwhelming and now we want to see him get out and dominate smaller defenders and match the bigs. He should be altering shots at the rim, getting baords and starting the break and doing whatever he can to separate himself. I'd advise him to get himself out there and show that he's made strides to his game and our showcase can be a place to show that as there should not be too many bigs that can stop him.     I know that Denver is not a quick trip from Glenwood Springs but some things are worth it and if Cale is available, I would advise getting out to a showcase soon. We have one Sunday that we'd like to have him at. He gets the under the radar tag simply because we don't see that team too much but he was able to come down this summer on our circuit and play well which made us wonder if there's more there. Cale was locked in on both ends, he challenged guys with his length defensively and turned defense into offense and those things stand out. He also can score it a bit and we want to see if there's parts of his game that we haven't seen unlocked yet. A big showing there could get more eyes on him but also give him some confidence heading into a big year where Glenwood Springs could shock a few teams.
