UIndy Elite Camp | Team White Evaluations

The University of Indianapolis Elite Camp brought together a talented group of prospects looking to showcase their abilities in front of the Greyhounds' coaching staff. The 25 prospects in attendance were split among four teams, providing an extended look at how each player impacted the game within a team setting. Here's a breakdown of the prospects from Team White:    The youngest prospect at the UIndy Elite Camp, [player_tooltip player_id='2971074' first='Jordan' last='Meyer'] of Seymour will begin his high school with a nice base skill set. Good framed 2030 prospect that plays with a mature game. Didn't necessarily score much in the scrimmages, but did the little things that don't necessarily show up in the stat sheet. Solid defender that plays really hard and competes on that end. Offensively showed good poise and an unselfish mindset. Rebounded well on the offensive end and got putbacks.     Intriguing 2028 Illinois prospect that turned heads early and often with his positional length and athleticism. Lived in the passing lanes defensively and is absolutely electric in transition on the offensive end. High flying wing that continued to get more and more comfortable as the day went on. Quick first step on the wing to get in the lane where he was able to finish in a variety of different ways. Had some eye popping plays above the rim finishing with authority. One of the top prospects at camp that has the potential to breakout during his junior season at Marist.     Steady point guard that did a good job balancing scoring and facilitating. [player_tooltip player_id='2929428' first='Matthew' last='King'] out of Tindley is a high energy guard that really competed on both ends. Played under control in the pick and roll turning the corner aggressively looking to score, but looked to make the right play according to what the defense was giving him. Physical guard that used his strength to his advantage on the defensive end of the floor. Active hands and aggressive in the passing lanes allowed him to turn defense into offense. Struggled a bit with his jumper in the scrimmages, but stayed aggressive and made plays in other ways off the dribble.     Balanced guard that didn't force the issue. Orleans 2029 Guard [player_tooltip player_id='3731956' first='Finn' last='Lantis'] caught my attention during the drills portion with his smooth skill set. Talented underclassmen with a pure shooting stroke. Showed he can break down his defender and get in the lane. Active on the boards and played with a high motor running the floor looking for easy opportunities. Steady defender that always seem to be in the right place at the right time for rotations and was able to contain his matchup.     One of the top players at the camp and it didn't take long during the scrimmages to see why. Avon 2028 Guard [player_tooltip player_id='2538906' first='Daniel' last='Thomas'] was getting busy on both ends of the floor making his presence felt. Scrappy defender with quick hands pressuring full court making it difficult for his matchup. Offensively he got going downhill getting in the paint at will and showed his finishing ability with either hand. Once the defense adjusted he showed his shooting ability from the outside knocking down three consecutive 3's at one point. Dynamic guard that is in for a huge year for the Orioles.     Like his high school teammate, [player_tooltip player_id='3594581' first='Trey' last='Lee'] out of Avon found a groove early and often during the scrimmage and was just relentless every time he touched the ball. Talented left handed guard showed his scoring prowess, mainly in the midrange as he would drive closeouts and would stop rise over defenders. Comfortable playing out of the pick and roll and was a willing passer, but his game is score first wanting to get two feet in the paint.     Big Bodied Forward/Center out of the state of Michigan that was a big time rebounder and paint presence on both ends of the floor. Harrison Sands is a physical defensive minded prospect that was able to protect the rim and was a high effort guy. Ran the floor well and was able to establish good post position. Struggled to finish on the day, but showed good footwork and the ability to set good screens, has good hands, and the ability to pick and pop from the outside.
