The Dakotas Sophomore ID Camp brought together an intriguing group of young talent from across the region, allowing players to compete, showcase their skill sets, and make an impression.   From skilled lead guards and crafty shot-makers to high-level athletes, playmaking wings and players with size and versatility, there was no shortage of talent on the floor. With so many different styles and strengths on display, several players stood out and caught our attention throughout the event.   In Top Performers: #PHSophIDDAK we're highlighting some of the players who made the biggest impressions — guys who brought energy, competed, made plays and gave us plenty to keep an eye on moving forward.   Here are some of the top performers from the Dakotas Sophomore ID Camp.   Top Performers    -He certainly lived up to the last name "Bruns", Aaron was so so good   -Starting to fill out, keeps adding inches, and is gaining muscle   -Complete player, did it all, shot hot, dished assists, rebounded, blocked shots   -His pull-up jump shot is a work of art, perfect balance   -Looked tough scoring after contact, finished with L & R, elite level shooter     -First time seeing him live and Sharp appears to be the real deal   -He was all over the glass on both ends, productive rebounder   -Highly impressive length & also moves well   -I like how he ran the court, finished in traffic in transition   -Sharp will be a breakout player for the Cardinals this season     -Eye-catching length with a massive wingspan   -DUNKED & slammed all over the gym   -Also showed that he can hit the 3-ball, racked up the O-boards   -MASSIVE dunk in transition, showed an impressively quick 2nd jump   -Drew multiple fouls, got to line often, shot looked good from charity stripe     -Smooth athlete, different than most   -Numerous blow-by drives, awesome speed & slashing ability   -Did plenty of scoring. but also dropped dimes & dished assists   -Outstanding in transition, dynamic in uptempo   -Lived up to the hype as a top-ranked prospect in this 2029 class     -Impressive length & size   -Looked good catching & scoring   -Moves well for that height & age   -Excellent reverse layup score, maneuvered body & finished from tough angle   -Showed exciting potential, name to watch in this class     -His ball skills were very impressive, handles are sharp   -Outstanding spin & score, great feel for the game   -Has deep extended shooting range, cashed in from well beyond the arc   -Body control in the paint and around the hoop was impressive   -All-level scorer, great with the ball in his hands, I like his game     -I knew he could score the rock and he passed the test on Saturday   -Smooth and accurate 3-point shooter, knocked down many   -Faster than I realized, has some tough takes & slashes   -Crafty & creative finisher, looks bigger in-person   -Multi-level scorer, he is going to tear it up in Class B this season     -Dominated in 3on3, put on a show, unstoppable at times   -Versatile and a matchup nightmare with his inside out scoring   -Good feet around the hoop, showed some sweet post moves   -I really like his baby-hook, sweet-looking perimeter shot as well   -Intrigued with his length and all-around scoring     -Looked good on film before these, even better in-person   -Noteworthy athlete with size, power, strength, and mobility   -Hands looked good, sealed around the basket, physical   -Finished well, several athletic transition scores   -Got hot from 3-point range, hit 4 or 5 treys in a single game   -Loads of upside to his game, more versatile than I realized    <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2025/08/NDSD.jpg"><img src="https://prephoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2025/08/NDSD.jpg?w=865" alt="" class="wp-image-2950876" /></a></figure>
