We won't put out our first official rankings for the incoming Class of 2030 until after our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. However, throughout the summer we have been able to get a feel for who the top prospects in the class are going to be. These are players who will likely make an impact at the varsity level right away and/or project very well to the college level as young prospects. Over the course of this week we will alphabetically release who we have evaluated so far to be among the Top 25 prospects in Indiana's Class of 2030.

Lawrence North is obviously no stranger to having a bunch of talent. Their incoming freshman class has a chance to be a special one with three players already making the varsity lineup for the Charlie Hughes Showcase this summer. Hollowell is a dynamic point guard that does a great job of getting into the paint consistently and making the right play once he is there. Whether he turns on the jets to score at the rim or passes out to an open teammate you can count on him always being involved in the offensive action.

From an athletic and physical tools standpoint there aren't many, if any, prospects in Indiana's Class of 2030 ahead of Jefferson. Just in the short time between seeing him in June with North Central High School and then at the Desmond Bane Elite Camp it looked like he had gotten taller and stronger. There is so much upside to work with. Jefferson is a 6'5" wing that should play right away for North Central as a freshman.

South Bend Riley High School will once again be one of the best teams in northern Indiana and could push towards being a Top 10 Class 4A team in the state. Johnson, a 5'7" point guard, got a good amount of opportunity this summer and certainly looked the part. He is so quick with the ball in his hands, does a great job of facilitating to his teammates, and can be very disruptive on the defensive end of the floor.

We haven't had the opportunity to see Kitch play very much at all in person yet so we are excited to have him at our upcoming Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. It will be good to evaluate him there against his peers. However, it was clear coming out of the Charlie Hughes Showcase that this 6'0" guard from Warsaw High School was likely a Top 25 talent in the class. He put up some big time scoring numbers at the varsity level and should be a major contributor from day one.

The incoming freshman class in the Evansville area appears to be very, very strong. Mallory had a great summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2076451' first='D1' last='Indiana'] and will factor into the equation at the varsity level for a good Evansville Mater Dei team right away. He is an athletic guard that can score it from anywhere on the floor. Mallory shoots it well, handles it well enough to create his own shot in the mid-range, and has a pop of athleticism to finish against bigger defenders inside. He is fun to watch.

There are several talented incoming freshmen in the greater Fort Wayne area with this New Haven High School prospect being among them. The 5'10" guard is a dynamic playmaker off of the bounce and very quick going end-to-end. New Haven has plenty of talent right now as the reigning Class 3A State Runner-Up, but McKinney could make a push to add some depth to their backcourt.
