Section 4A – Can Liberty Classical Repeat?

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Section Predictions</h2>   <ol class="wp-block-list"> <li>Liberty Classical. We understand that they lost nearly 50 points per game with the graduation of Sam Rupnow and Ethan Richter….. BUT…. the Lions have three starters returning and some reserves. </li>   <li>Heritage Christian. On paper, you see that Heritage Christian has their top guy returning, big man [player_tooltip player_id='2985450' first='Aaron' last='Palmer'] back from injury, and more back than Liberty. But…. also on paper you see Liberty whooped Heritage three times last year. </li>   <li>Hope Academy. I think Hope will take a step this year. They return all starters and top scorers, they were close with United last year, and props to Hope for scheduling pretty tough to test themselves last year.</li>   <li>United Christian Academy. After a rough start losing six of seven, UCA turned things around and won 16 games. They were very close with Heritage late in the season and they return everything but their top scorer. </li>   <li>West Lutheran. West Lutheran has their top four players back from a team that won 14 of 27 games last season. A balanced team with four starters returning. </li>   <li>Ubah Academy. Ubah won 17 games last year which is good! But when they played the teams higher on this last year they got crushed by massive amounts. Big gap to fill to take the next step but they have a lot back. One thing we need to clear up is if Omar Omar was a senior or junior last year, if he was a junior that is big for Ubah Academy who also has their top player back.</li>   <li>Trinity School. Played well late in the year and they have a good junior class that the new coach should be able to tap into for more wins. </li>   <li>CHOF. Lost their big man inside but return Elias Bratzel and the Sarbacker brothers at guard.</li>   <li>Avail Academy. Lose two double figure scoring starters but have their top guy back. </li>   <li>Minnesota Transitions. A 10-9 team from a season ago.</li>   <li>Metro Schools Prep. Lost seven of their last nine games last season and went 9-11.</li>   <li>Exploration. As we explore the previous season for this team we see some tough late season losses and conflicting records online (10-14 or 7-14).</li>   <li>International. Move over high school kids, there is a prep school coming to town that has a bunch of new names from around the globe (which fits as its…. The International School!)</li>   <li>Community of Peace. They were peaceful on defense giving up 80 points a game. </li>   <li>Prairie Seeds Academy. About to sprout into a new season! </li>   <li>AIM. This isn't toothpaste, this is a team that played a dozen games last season! </li>   <li>Venture. If Venture is the Venture Vultures I am moving them up ten spots (only played five games last season).</li>   <li>St .Paul City. Winless in five games last season.</li>   <li>Lincoln International. They played three games last year, give the AD a raise!</li> </ol>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading">All Section</h2>   First Team   [player_tooltip player_id='2773880' first='Cruz' last='Triana'] of Liberty Classical (Sr). A guard that scored nearly 14 points per game last year and now is the main option.    [player_tooltip player_id='3469543' first='Jordan' last='Moss'] of Hope Academy (Sr).  Moss is a guard that scored 18 points a game as a junior.    Isaiah Coyle of Heritage Christian Academy (Sr).  Coyle scored 13.5 points a game as the wing led his team in scoring last year. Also grabbed 6.4 boards a night.    Jimmy Youtsey of Liberty Classical (Sr).  Jimmy was the fourth double figure scorer last season putting up 11.5ppg   [player_tooltip player_id='2560537' first='Tyriek' last='Martin'] of Hope Academy (Jr). Martin gave his team 12.5 points a game last season and should take a big jumper as a junior.    [player_tooltip player_id='2985450' first='Aaron' last='Palmer'] of Heritage Christian Academy (Sr).  A big man that was injured for most of last year but came back late to help.  Has a chance for a big senior year.    Second Team   [player_tooltip player_id='2416724' first='Abdullahi' last='Mohamed'] of Ubah Academy (Sr). Mohamed scored over 16 points a game last year and has a real chance to be a 20 point per game guy on the average.    Simon Charlton of United Christian Academy (Sr).  A 6'5 forward that scored 11.5 points a contest.    Logan Comfort of Heritage Christian Academy (Sr).  Logan scored 10.5 points a game last year from his wing position.   Cody Oppitz of West Lutheran (Soph).  A top score for his team as a freshman putting up 12 plus points a game.    Max Voleker of Heritage Chrisitan Academy (Jr).  Max also missed part of last year, scored nine a game as a guard when healthy.    Third Team   William Gilbert of Liberty Classical (Sr).  A role playing senior from a season ago that scored three times a contest.    Braylon Peterson of Hope Academy (Sr).  Peterson scored ten points a game last season.   Elias Bratzel of CHOF (Sr).  Top returning scorer and player for his team.    Carter Bruin of Avail Academy (Sr). Frontcourt player that scored 18 a game last year.   [player_tooltip player_id='3657283' first='Teagan' last='Nammeh'] of Trinity (Jr).  Teegan scored double figures last year, a 6'6 big.     <h2 class="wp-block-heading">4A Section Summary</h2>   This looks like a four team race. Liberty Classical was really good a season ago but lost two very good seniors. They have the returning talent to compete for a title but it should be a really good battle with Heritage Christian who has more back and more size. But Liberty gave it to them pretty good last season. Hope Academy is usually the most battle tested team in the bunch but they weren't as experienced. If the portal didn't hurt them again, they will contest as should United Christian Academy.
