Dailan Holman, the Aggressive Finisher

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Six-foot-4, 200 pound [player_tooltip player_id='2623092' first='Dailan' last='Holman'] is a preseason All State 6A player, third team All Sunflower, and he was a 17u All State player after a fantastic season with VWBA Elite.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Holman, now a Shawnee Mission North senior, led his team to a 14-win season last year and Holman is one of two starters returning. His team has a fair amount to replace but based on the season that Dailan just had with VWBA, he is in position to lead his team this winter. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Holman was a second team all state 17u player this spring, summer, and he was one of the more reliable scorers for his team that wasn't in the frontcourt. Holman helped VWBA to get to the semi-finals of the major Recruit Look finale in Chicago. And Holman did that aggressively. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"The 17 and under season went really good, I had a lot of fun playing for Coach Vic," Holman said. "One highlight was making it to the Final Four in Chicago."</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>And what is next for Holman?</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"I want to keep getting better so that we can have a successful high school season," Holman explained. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Everywhere that Holman played this spring the scouts, opposing coaches and others raved about his two way play. Defensively he is active on and off the ball, Holman is an aggressive scorer both attacking and pushing in transition plus you had to step to him when he shot from the arc. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"I would say I am a tough, plays hard team first player," Dailan said. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>And when you get results like Dailan has as in both high school and 17u, you get recruited at the next level. Who is Holman hearing from?</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>"Rockhurst University, Benedictine College, and MidAmerica Nazarene University are the main ones that I am talking to," Holman said. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Anywhere you look for Holman, high school season, at camps, in 16u or 17u past seasons, Dailan scores for his team: 14ppg at this camp, 20ppg at this camp, 12.5 at this event, 18 a game for this varsity season etc. A guy that opponents know they must be ready for. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
