Bonne helped Cathedral Prep last year to a championship and was their second leading scorer as a Sophomore. He's a quick guard who loves to attack the basket, draw fouls and make shots in the mid range. His confidence and trust of the coaching staff grew throughout last season. This Junior might lead the B in scoring and if he does the Crusaders might go back to back.

Rodriguez is a back for another season with the Lions after leading them in points and rebounds. He does most of his damage around the rim, he's physical, sets screens and works hard to get open. His chances of taking home the MVP will be difficult but he could easily be an All CHSAA selection. Cristo Rey will lean on Rodriguez a bunch.

Tuitt is my early favorite to take home the MVP award and there's a chance he may be the face of the B division. He's a flashy point guard who can push the pace, get others involved, and defend 94 feet. His energy is terrific, he's like an extra coach on the floor and already has two years of varsity experience. Kennedy Catholic could have a massive season with Tuitt running the show, let's see if he's ready for the opportunity.

Francis really popped during Iona Prep's CHSAA team camp during the summer. He's a patient forward with nice size, good hands and understands how to get open. His effort on the glass is great, he protects the rim, can pass when doubled and should score a lot points in the paint for LaSalle.

Karim has had an excellent start to his varsity career and will look to go out in style his Senior season. This steady point guard put up nice scoring numbers despite being tasked with getting others involved and running the offense. Regis will now shift everything more towards their lead guard and ask him to do even more. His coaches believe in him, his teammates do as well and Karim despite being an MVP candidate would prefer helping his school raise another championship banner.

Spellman has a few prospects who were definitely considered but Peters was our top choice for now. He's still a youngster but he could be the toughest cover in the league. His maturity, shot selection, footwork and movement off the ball are very impressive. This winter he could take a serious leap especially with this coaching staff behind him and focusing on maximizing his development. Watch out for Peters and Spellman this season.
