Spellman has a few prospects who were definitely considered but Peters was our top choice for now. He’s still a youngster but he could be the toughest cover in the league. His maturity, shot selection, footwork and movement off the ball are very impressive. This winter he could take a serious leap especially with this coaching staff behind him and focusing on maximizing his development. Watch out for Peters and Spellman this season.

He has multiple years to learn from New York City legendary high school coach Mo Hicks, which will evaluate his overall game. He showed good defensive intensity and executed a strong Iverson cut to get an open three-point look from the left wing. He stepped in to take a charge, beating the ball handler to the spot.
