2030 Standouts at Futures of NORCAL

On Sunday August 23rd PH NorCal was at Oakland Tech High School in Oakland, CA for the Future Stars of NORCAL event featuring prospects from the Class of 2030, incoming Freshman.    A solid body with an expanding skill set that will improve going forward. Standing 6'5 he made good use of his body at this event as a reliable scorer in the paint. He showed patience, footwork, finished with some touch. He rebounds, can handle and pass in open court/transition, not fast but body control using crossovers and other moves going forward. He got multiple rebounds, showed he could take and make open 3's. He'll get minutes on the Varsity at Modesto Christian     Has good size, can play both guard positions, maybe slall forward at this level. He's strong with good ball handling, and movement. He sees the court, will make the extra pass. He's a rebounder, got a couple putback points, balancing himself taking it back up strong. He pushed, and pass in transition. He's a good defender, has footspeed, lateral movement and strength to defend multiple positions.     He's a 6'7 ball handler with some point guard abilities. He had multiple drives into the paint using his size and length to finish layups. You could say he'll be a versatile inside/out type of player they can move around to create scoring opportunities for him. He has length, and movement to rebound and defend the paint, might change a few shots. He's still learning and adjusting, good upside.     A solid body combo guard with leverage. He had strong drives to the basket whenever the opportunity presented itself. He went hard in transition, from multiple spots along the perimeter, sometimes pulling on the dime for mid-range jumpers. He challenged bigs to block his shot using his solid body to handle the bumps. Good upper body strength and footspeed to be a good on ball defender     Good size, moves well, he'll probably be a contributor on the Varsity. He handled himself well, good activity around the rim. He used a couple of dribbles to finish with dunks, drove the baseline planting two feet to score around the rim, or pulled up for the short baseline jumper. He had some court presence on defense, did well defending and running the court. He made the effort to get his share of rebounds, made long passes up court. He could be a 4 year Varsity prospect we'll keep an eye him.
