2027 Rankings Update: Top Newcomers from 200-250

With the recent update to the Pennsylvania 2027 prospect rankings, a handful of newcomers saw their names included for the first time. Whether due to reclassifications, transferring from out of the area, or simply just now catching the eye of our staff, these were the prospects within the 200-250 range to be added to the rankings for the first time since our last update.    Kpan emerged last season and continued to prove himself over the course of the summer in both AAU and scholastic settings. He leaves his mark on the game with his boundless energy and explosive athleticism, making scrap plays all over the floor on both ends. While he doesn't have the most defined skillset and is a bit undersized for his role at the scholarship level, small-college programs would be wise to start checking in on Kpan this fall.     A native of Delaware, Neuberger has been progressing consistently since moving to Friends Select. He's a modern day swing forward with the size of a frontcourt player but natural comfort operating on the perimeter as a shooter and handler. There's still some consistency issues and a lot of development needed in the weight room, but Neuberger has the type of size and natural mobility that can be hard to find at the small-college level.     Hunt will be looked at to lead Downingtown East this year and is coming off a strong summer leading Uptown Hoops' MHA outfit. With experience operating at both guard spots, he's a natural scorer with smooth touch from all three levels and some wiggle to his handle while working to spots off the bounce. He lacks ideal size for the scholarship level and can struggle as a playmaker for others, but Hunt's scoring ability both on and off the ball can translate nicely in the right small-college setting.     Ross made the move over from Pennsauken (NJ) last year, and after getting acclimated to the PCL and continuing to prove himself in [program_tooltip program_id='2428023' first='Philly' last='Revolution']'s MHA championship run, he's more than earned a spot in these rankings. Wired to score, he's a threat from each level with soft touch on his jumper and a quick first step getting into the paint. He shows some impressive ability to finish among the trees for his size. His outlook at the next level will be boosted if he can show an improved ability to run a team and manage a game as a true lead guard.     One of the more pleasant surprises from our time at Philly Live, Burnheter caught the eye essentially out of nowhere and made a strong impression with a fun and well-rounded game. A complementary guard with nice size, he's a dangerous shotmaker off the catch but really impressed with his ability to see the floor and make plays while operating out of ball screens from the wing. Burnheter is expected to step into a marquee role for Strath Haven this year and area small-colleges would be wise to make the trip to Delco for this potential hidden gem.
