Enough ink has already been spilled here on Francis' exploits over the past nine months, but it's impossible to make this list without considering the most noteworthy jump of taking over the #1 spot. Francis was ranked 5th in the previous update and completely outside of consideration for #1. His continued dominance in every setting this summer while taking on all comers on a national scale elevated him to a new tier as a prospect and made him the guy we're most comfortable betting on at the Power 5 level.

Now close to a year removed from his return to the court after an ACL tear that cost him the 2024-25 season, Muhammad-Gray looks fully recovered and has now been able to focus on making significant strides in his game. A junkyard dog who will do whatever is needed to win, he played more of a frontcourt role last year for an undersized Imhotep group but got to show this summer that he's plenty capable of operating on the wing at a high level, with improved consistency as a shotmaker and underrated playmaking feel. He's continued to evolve as an athlete as well and doesn't seem to be thinking about his injury in the slightest when he takes off to play above the rim. Muhammad-Gray is being prioritized by a handful of mid-major programs and could potentially play his way into Power 5 interest if he decides to play out the season.

It was hard to find a game or event that Adedeji played in this summer where he wasn't among the clear standouts, and he was rewarded with a jump into the top five of the rankings. One of the bigger stock-risers already coming out of the high school season, he's continued to elevate himself while starting to incorporate his full inside-out arsenal on a consistent basis. Adedeji has learned to leave a mark on games with his motor and is blossoming quickly in both his strength and athleticism. His consistent production with his overall blend of size, skill, and athletic tools has justifiably generated recruitment from Power 5 programs.

Starling was already a big winner coming out of the high school season but boosted his stock even further with a standout June scholastic session followed by a 17U championship run on the Under Armour circuit. He's a highlight waiting to happen with boundless energy and explosive athleticism that he applies consistently on both ends of the floor, continuing to show that he belongs in matchups with higher-level competition that he sees regularly in the Mid Penn Conference. His continued growth as a shotmaker has been key as a complement to his downhill exploits. The dynamic guard opted to end his recruitment early, announcing his commitment to La Salle at the end of July.

We've been high on Diene for some time now and he's only continued to elevate himself by showing increasing consistency in his motor and production. His versatility really stands out as he's able to operate effectively from seemingly anywhere on the floor, tapping into a unique blend of size, strength, and skill to exploit whatever matchup his thrown his way. Diene's feel for the game can sometimes be a bit scattered but he routinely makes plays that only a handful of guys in his mold are able to make. His commitment to East Stroudsburg should wind up looking like a steal if he continues on his current trajectory.
